Islamic periodicals are defined as: publications issued periodically, and containing articles, research, or studies that convey Islamic thought and culture. Islamic periodicals have a prominent place among other types of sources of documentary and non-documentary Islamic information, because they are characterized by the speed of their issuance and the modernity and diversity of their Islamic information. This study aims to explain the reality of Islamic periodicals published in Iraq, graphically analyze their bibliographic characteristics and emphasize the importance of their issuance, as well as give a historical overview of the issuance and publication of Islamic periodicals in the Arab world and the world, while presenting examples of I

Therefore, it is important to encourage usage of the constructability concept in the construction industry in Iraq. The main purpose of this study is to investigate the factors that affect constructability in Iraq and then classify them according to their importance. A total of 37 factors were collected from an intensive literature review, and they were classified under the sub and main categories. A survey was undertaken in two sessions with open questionnaire and close questionnaire. The results were analysed and the mean
Background: The umbilicus, before and shortly after sloughing of the cord, can be a source of infection or toxicity. The infection can be severe, such as septicaemia
or tetanus neonatorum.
Method: Mothers of 200 neonates seen at the Children Welfare Hospital, outpatient department, Baghdad, and at Al-Takia health centre, Baquba, were interviewed about the separation of the umbilical stump and the care of the umbilicus after delivery at home or hospital, in the period, January to July 2003, excluding March and April, the time of active military invasion of the country.
Results: For occlusion of the cord a plastic clamp was used in all hospital deliveries, and 80% of home deliveries. A cotton thread or a s
The population density witnessed by the capital, Baghdad, due to successive wars and unemployment, is linked to the phenomenon of urbanization, which is a global phenomenon that means the increasing tendency of the rural population to reside in cities (urban), especially concentration in the capital, Baghdad. Therefore, the phenomenon of urbanization is associated with 3 terms: migration, countryside, and city. Migration is when a person or a group leaves their place of residence to move to live in another place with the intention of staying in the new place for a long time. As for the countryside: they are the areas surrounding cities usually, and the countryside is characterized by natural and agricultural areas and is considered an outle

Background: CM is the leading cause of infant deaths and account for much greater proportion of infant mortality’ than does premature birth. A malformation is a primary structural defect arising from a localized error in morphogenesis. This is a prospective study devoted to define the causes and frequencies of congenital malformations (CM) in Maternal and Children Hospital (MCH) in Al-Anbar govemorate (west of Iraq) and a comparison is done with other Iraqi and international studies.

Perhaps the most prominent motivations for the research and its justification is to remind people of the days of God Almighty, and the mention of the insect always pushes the believer to do honorable, and avoid sins, over the days, and prepare for the time of the resurrection, in the hands of knowing a scientist.
In order to identify the subject of entomology and its contents, the researcher based his study on the scientific methodology, it has excavated the origin of the entomology and its
This work describes the effect of temperature on the phase transformation of titanium dioxide (TiO2) prepared using metal organic precursors as starting materials. X-ray diffraction (XRD) was used to investigate the structural properties of TiO2 gels calcined at different temperatures (300, 500, 700) ?C. the results showed that the samples have typical peaks of TiO2 polycrystalline brookite nanopowders after calcined at (300 ?C), which confirmed by (111), (121), (200), (012), (131), (220), (040), (231), (132) and (232) diffraction peaks. Also, XRD diffraction spectra showed the presence of crystallites of anatase with low proportion of rutile phase where calcined at (500 ?C), while rutile phase domains at (700 ?C). The crystallite size of

The problem of the research was to study appropriate glazing systems for the spaces of the University of Baghdad because glazing systems are one of the most important elements of the indoor environments, and it has a major impact on the thermal performance of buildings. Glass is one of the most seasoned materials that are most utilized in the design. Since it is a diaphanous material, it allows sunlight to enter the building, increasing the space's temperature, cooling loads, and energy consumption in summer. The research followed the experimental method by studying and
