This study is concerned look at the role of satellite channels in the dissemination of
consumer culture that has become part of our everyday lives , which is a dangerous
phenomenon on society , so the study is aimed at introducing the concept of consumer culture
and the risks to individuals , which conducted a field study on a sample of students from the
University of Baghdad, as they represent an important category of the society they are a class
of young people to get to know the impact of satellite television on them through their various
programs and serials, films and ads may develop consumer culture they have , including in
respect of ideas and information , where the questionnaire was developed to ensure different
questions and distributed to the research sample , and results show that the Spread a large
proportion of the sample are affected , including its programs and informational materials
which affects the consumption of goods and culture.
The present study investigates the notion of untranslatability where the concept of equivalence is reconsidered since the misconceptions, related to the said concept, inevitably lead to the emergence of untranslatability. Identifying equivalence as relative, approximate and necessary identity makes the notion of untranslatability a mere theorization. This research discusses the developmental role of the social worker in providing care for children at risk. The research is desicriptive in nature include both the theoretical and field aspects. The theoretical aspect focuses on the characteristics and requirements of these children and what forms and implications are exposed to them by society, what is the developmental role of the social worker in the rehabilitation of this group. This paper presents a comparison between the electroencephalogram (EEG) channels during scoliosis correction surgeries. Surgeons use many hand tools and electronic devices that directly affect the EEG channels. These noises do not affect the EEG channels uniformly. This research provides a complete system to find the least affected channel by the noise.
