The family is considered one of the most important social institutions which has a
strong and clear effect on the child in forming his personality through the process
of social upbringing which works on transforming the child from a merely
biological being into an individual who has customs and traditions and the behavior
of the group to which he belongs, and till now there is no social organization or
institution that can do this process not even in partial way like the family
.Therefore depriving the child of his parents leads to depriving him of the normal
chances of growth which relate to his age stage and thus this shortcoming is hard to
treat and based on the preceding the current research aimed at the following:
((Knowing the level of the leadership behavior in the orphan pupils in comparison
to their normal peers))
And the researcher concluded through the results of the research that the normal
pupils have a leadership behavior more than the orphan pupils .Therefore the
researcher recommends urging the parents or who take their place to take care in
the development of the child's personality and providing the necessary safety and
care to the orphan child, and making symposiums with the cultural cautioning of
the media aiming at directing the parents and who takes their place about how to
deal with the orphan child.
A new simple and sensitive spectrophotometric method is described for quantification of Nifedipine (NIF) and their pharmaceutical formulation. The selective method was performed by the reduction of NIF nitro group to yield primary amino group using zinc powder with hydrochloric acid. The produced aromatic amine was submitted to oxidative coupling reaction with pyrocatechol and ammonium ceric nitrate to form orange color product measured spectrophotometrically with maximum absorption at 467nm. L-arabinose isomerase from Escherichia coli O157:H7 Was immobilized with activated Bentonite from local markets of Baghdad, Iraq by 10% 3-APTES and treated with 10% aqueous glutaraldehyde, the results refer that the yield of immobilization was 89%, and pH profile of free and immobilized L-arabinose isomerase was 7 and 7.5 and it is stable at 6-8 for 60 min respectively, while, the optimum temperature was 30 and 35°C and it was stable at 35 and 40°C for 60 min but it loses more than 60 and 30% from its original activity at 50°C for free and immobilized L-arabinose isomerase respectively. The aim of this study is to investigate the existence of some heavy metals (lead, cadmium, chromium) in colored plastic table dishes and study the migration of these metals to the food meals and the affecting factors in migration , such as storage period and food temperature. Six kinds of colored plastic table dishes were collected from Baghdad markets. The heavy metals in table dishes and in the prepared food meals put in them were estimated using atomic absorption spectrophotometer (Shimadzu A5000).
