Academic libraries characterized from other libraries in the groups of literacy acquired, and
ways to retrieve this information, where it is supposed supply of various combinations of traditional
sources, electronic information, such as books and references, maps and indexes, CD-ROMs and
service-line and so on, via electronic mediator or via the Internet instead of the mediator paper. The
digital technology has changed the way you work by academic libraries, where confined to the
primary mission of these libraries to provide prompt services to the needs of researchers, professors
and students, and the provision of reading different materials, including electronic sources that
support the curriculum and research in electronic form.
Technology changed all functions of the academic library and research, which enabled the
researcher access to the literature, the professional needs or the full text of journal articles from his
home or office through the computer . One study has shown that the provision of such services
depends on the provision of systems, modern communications, and provide network infrastructure,
and connectivity to databases and information technology and multimedia, but academic libraries in
many countries still lack the provision of basic infrastructure for electronic information.
Many academic libraries have been involved in the projects of digital libraries, and the role of
libraries in the digital world is not only providing information and provide a place for storage in a
building, but to exceed their role more, such as locating method of high-tech to retrieve that
information quickly and easily, by creating a portal and electronic outlets that available to the
pioneers of the possibility of using this technology for the delivery of services to the beneficiary
remote access electronically.
Library Project means establishing electronic links and e-points leading beneficiaries of the
electronic sources available on the Internet by providing a mechanism for search and retrieval. If a
librarians desired to play an active role in this field, they must be to realize these digital
developments and learning them, and bring them to the library for the purpose of providing entry
points for information.
This research sheds light on the use of metal in the manufacture of jewelry, which is represented by ornamental tools in the period between the third and second millennium BC, in addition to the most important molds used in their manufacture. Man has been interested in metals since early ages, and was able to make tools that he uses in his daily life, especially jewelry. And the Syrian people got acquainted with the types of minerals, their characteristics, and how to deal with them. Minerals played an effective and prominent role in the economy of ancient Syria. Trade with those countries and secure their roads.
The current study aimed to determine the relation between the lead levels in the blood traffic men and the nature of their traffic work in Baghdad governorate. Blood samples were collected from 10 traffic men and the age about from 20-39 year from Directorate of Traffic Al Rusafa/ Baghdad and 10 samples another control from traffic men too with age 30-49 year and they livedrelatively in the clear cities or contained of Very few traffic areas. The study is designed to identify intestinal parasitic infections examined at Al-Aziziyah Hospital in Wasit Governorate in Iraq. In this study, a total of (460) internal and external patients were monitored for intestinal parasitic infections. All stool samples were analyzed by the direct method (microscopic exam.) to discover the trophozoite stages and cyst stages for intestinal protozoan parasites. This study assessed the quality of hand-dug drinking water sources in Eku and its environs at Eku I, Samagidi, Eku 2, and Okuechi, using the weighted arithmetic water quality index method. Water samples collected from hand-dug wells at these locations returned values for analyzed parameters. The research aimed to investigate the level of Organizational Cynicism and Job Engagement of Government Schools teachers in Al Zubair district.
