The aim of this research is to study the effect of using computer
techniques to increase students information at the experimenting the speed
control of dc motor by the magnetic field.
Simulation of the experiment has been used by implementing
“Electronics Workbench” software.
The random sample, included (30) second year electrical department
students, divided into two groups , experimental and control with pre-test and
post-test .
The results showed great advantages for the experimental group
through the use of computer program in the laboratory. The calculated (t) was
(10.6) which was significant and showed statistical differences between the
experimental and control group.
According to the results, using the simulation in electrical machines
laboratory experiments through “Electronics work bench ", had been enforce
the students learning. The researchers recommended to utilize this
techniques either as supporting program to the ordinary laboratory work or
as self- learning method which provide the possibility to repeat the
experiment or / and validate its results.

This paper deals with the design and implementation of an ECG system. The proposed system gives a new concept of ECG signal manipulation, storing, and editing. It consists mainly of hardware circuits and the related software. The hardware includes the circuits of ECG signals capturing, and system interfaces. The presented work shows a preliminary analytic method for estimation of load and pressure distributions on low speed wings with flow separation and wake rollup phenomena’s. A higher order vortex panel method is coupled with the numerical lifting line theory by means of iterative procedure including models of separation and wake rollup. ... Show MoreThe present study investigated the impact of fuel kind on the emitted emissions at the idling period. Three types of available fuels in Iraq were tested. The tests conducted on ordinary gasoline with an octane number of 82, premium gasoline with an octane number of 92, and M20 (consist of 20% methanol and 80% regular gasoline). The 2 liters Mercedes-Benz engine was used in the experiments.
The results showed that engine operation at idle speed emits high levels of CO, CO2, HC, NOx and noise. The produced emission levels depend highly on fuel type.
