The povety in a subjct of one of the most important problems that
accompanied the development process in iraq and is now pointing in the
depth of institutional struetues and threaten the sociol fabric and cohesion
mechamisms .
The study included of the most importana social problems that
accompamied thecrises and occupation in iraq as aproblem of unemployment
aworce, forced displacement and disintegration of family and juvenile
delinguency and the problems of drug addiction .
The study relied on sample slected from the city of Baghdad ,showed
the most important results of that two-thirds of the asssets of an urban sample
compared to one third of them from rural aelcyrounds and that there is
arelationship between family size and poverty level . And more than half of the respondents obtioed the pimary education
that the majority of families stressed that poverty was the most important
causes of social problems family. The study included a set of
recommenelation and proposals .

Salvinia molesta, an aquatic plant, is chosen in this study to determine its ability to degrade diesel as the pollutant in synthetic wastewater with different diesel concentrations (0, 8,700, 17,400, and 26,100 mg/L) for 14 days. Total petroleum hydrocarbon (TPH) has been used as an indicator to represent diesel concentration variation in wastewater. Degradation of TPH was 85.1% for diesel concentration of 8,700 mg/L, compared with only 53.9% in the corresponding control without plant.
