The purpose of this study is to show the constants and variables geography in Russian
policy in light of variables geostrategic witnessed by the world, especially after the collapse
of the Soviet Union and the disintegration to fifteen Republic became the Russian Federation
and the heir to the Soviet Union, Geography particularly important because the impact of its
data in policy making less change ofothers, and explain the political choices cannot achieve
security through its relationship constants geographical (natural or human) paint forms of
economic activity and determine the points they national security. issue is the geographical
this or that country is determined by its policy also specifies the way in which thinks policy
makers by the short-termand long term. here comes the importance of the study to analyze
and detect the strengths and weakness in the Russian Federation and its impact on policymaking
and what is the role that can be played on the stage of international politics and in
particular the Arab world.
There is a scarcity of data regarding algal flora of Tigris River in the territory of Baghdad. The present study deals with Tigris River in Al-Dora site in Baghdad province from November 2014 to June 2015 in order to shed light on its epiphytic Algae on (Phragmites australis) and epipelic algae. An amount of 183 and 154 species of epiphytic and epipelic algae are identified respectfully. The Bacillariophyceae (diatoms) are the dominant algal group followed by Cyanophyceae and Chlorophyceae. Moreover, 90 species are shared between two groups of algae (epiphytic and epipelic) and identified at the study site. The adsorption of Malonic acid, Succinic acid, Adipic acid, and Azelaic acid from their aqueous solutions on zinc oxide surface were investigated. The adsorption efficiency was investigated using various factors such as adsorbent amount, contact time, initial concentration, and temperature. Optimum conditions for acids removal from its aqueous solutions were found to be adsorbent dose (0.2 g), equilibrium contact time (40 minutes), initial acids concentration (0.005 M). Variation of temperature as a function of adsorption efficiency showed that increasing the temperature would result in decreasing the adsorption ability.
