Importance of the research:
The importance of any educational or scientific research through its intellectual arena of facts supply the individual and society, Supports Knowledge and Science Group, which raised will be locked in these topics in the future.
This research seeks to shed light on the image and the role of women and men in the books of the Arabic language in primary education (primary), To illustrate the negative effects of the phenomenon of sexism in textbooks, And its negative impact on emerging, And stay away as much as possible about the distinction between the sexes in the roles and qualities in textbooks traditional stereotypes and remove that put both sexes templates hinder the development of the individual and the limit of its capabilities and ambitions, And impede the march and progress of society. (Hormuz.1988).
The difference between the sexes is based on a patriarchal culture and the world of organized by men for men is the reason for this gender discrimination, Despite the progress made by women in the fields of life. (Lutfi, 1988).
If we go back to the real reason for the gender discrimination we are seeing is due to the composition of the social system in the Arab countries are biased stereotypes, It is necessary to point out that the roles played by women has undergone many profound changes as a result of the rapid cultural change in the present era. (Shriha'a, 1989).
Research Objectives:
The current research aims to:
1- The role and image of women and men in the Arabic language books in primary education in the Republic of Iraq characterization
2-Identification of the positive roles of women in these books.
3-Identify negative roles that emerged by women.
Search Procedures
Sample
Arabic language teachers in primary schools affiliated to the Directorate of Educational Karkh third place in Baghdad, Where was their number (166) teacher.
Search tool
Was drafted resolution for the study analysis of reading books at the elementary level, Where the number of questions (35) Question arranged within three alternatives respectively [ Ok, I dunno, Is Ok], Mark has been under what is appropriate of the three alternatives at the discretion of the Arabic language teacher verified or unverified.
Statistical methods
1. The questions were arranged in descending order according to the resolution percentile weight for each question where
2. The number of occurrences of unloading answer at every level of the three resolution levels.
3. dish Kay law for each question in the questionnaire to calculate the calculated value and compare the value tabular.
Search Results
Through content analysis of reading books at the elementary level and compatibility with the results of the questionnaire, The results can be summarized as follows:
- There are significant differences between the books directed toward males and females and their orientation towards the percentages were clearest evidence of this.
- There is a difference and disparity between male and female attendance at these textbooks in favor of men as Danh and Statistics.- The results showed a significant impact practiced textbooks enshrining sexism process through traditional stereotypical references inherited impose values and standards of society and culture.
- There is a disparity between the number of authors and works, technicians and professionals, scientists and processes, in these books for the benefit of men.
- There is a disparity between the number of poets and poets of poems books in favor of men.
- There is a disparity in the female and male audience, As a secondary female characters, The male pivotal and key often in favor of men.
- There is a disparity between the images and fees earmarked for females and males, The difference is also in favor of men.

The Role of Strain Elastography in Evaluating Borderline Axillary Lymph nodes
...Show More Authors

Background: Axillary lymph node (ALN) enlargement with diffuse cortical thickening and conserved echogenic hilum may represent a diagnostic and therapeutic challenge. Sonographic strain elastography may help the characterization of borderline ALN.

Aim: To evaluate the strain elastography of borderline ALN and to calculate a cutoff value of strain ratio (SR) that can identify suspicious ALN with the highest sensitivity and specificity to reduce unnecessary invasive procedures.

Subjects and Methods: A prospective study included 45 patients who attended the Breast clinic in Oncology Teaching Hospital with borderline axillary lymphadenopathy (intact hilum and diffusely thic

The impact of Outward bank transfers on exchange rates in Iraq
...Show More Authors

The depreciation of the Iraqi dinar against the US dollar, reaching low levels and causing disruptions in the local markets, has had detrimental effects on individuals and companies, particularly those with limited income and the poor. The local currency approached around 1600 dinars per dollar, after the official exchange rate had stabilized at around 1450 dinars per US dollar. This depreciation in the value of the Iraqi dinar can be attributed to financial speculation among currency traders, which directly affected exchange rates and illicit dollar smuggling operations. Bank transfers are also important alongside financial transactions, especially in light of current economic developments in the 21st century. To prevent currency s

Enhancing the Lifting Capacity of Drilling Fluids in Vertical Oil Wells
...Show More Authors

Of the many functions that are performed by the drilling fluid, the most important is to transport cuttings from the bit up the annulus to the surface. Various drilling fluid have been widely used in the oil industry to improve lifting capacity. In this study, three mud type have been used which they are, oil base mud, X-anthan polymer and a mixture of CMC and bentonite ,by using Carrying Capacity Index calculation (CCI) , the Xanthan gave good values of CCI than other studied drilling fluid. By using Sifferman chart and field data from well in south of Iraq and API equation to find cutting concentration in the annulus, The results showed that the used of thick mud increase the lifting capacity and decrease volumetric drill c

To achieve the objectives of the study, a non –probability (purposive) sample of (50) nurses were selected those were working at the oncology wards at the above listed hospitals. The data selected according to the criteria of the study sample. The validity of the questionnaire was determined through an expert panel consists of (11) specialist expert and its reliability was determined through a pilot study by test – retest which was estimated as averages (R=0.89). Data was collected by direct interview technique using the questionnaire formal and data was analyzed by application of descriptive & inferential statistical methods (frequency, percentage, mean of score and Chi-Square). The Use of Bracing Dampers in Steel Buildings under Seismic Loading
...Show More Authors

This study focuses on the modeling of manufactured damper when used in steel buildings. The main aim of the manufactured dampers is to protect the steel buildings from the damaging effects that may result due to earthquakes by introducing an extra damping in addition to the traditional damping.
Only Pure Manufactured Dampers, has been considered in this study. Viscous modeling of damping is generally preferred in structural engineering as it leads to a linear model then it has been used during this study to simulate the behavior of the Pure Manufactured Damper.
After definition of structural parameters of a manufactured damper (its stiffness and its damping) it can be used as a structural element that can be added to a mathematica

The photo-transferred thermoluminescence phenomenon in case of emergency dose assessment
...Show More Authors
Abstract
A major disadvantage of dose reconstruction by means of thermoluminescence (TL) is the fact that during readout of any TL material exposed to ionizing radiation (i.e., during measuring the glow curve), the radiation-induced signal gets lost. Application of the photo-transferred thermoluminescence phenomenon (PTTL) may offer a solution to this problem. In PTTL, the residual signal that is not destroyed by conventional TL readout (because it comes from deeper electron traps) can be readout through simultaneous stimulation by UV light and heating, allowing to obtain information about the absorbed dose in a second run. The present paper describes the application of PTTL for emergency dose assessment. For
... Show More
