In this article, a new deterministic primality test for Mersenne primes is presented. It also includes a comparative study between well-known primality tests in order to identify the best test. Moreover, new modifications are suggested in order to eliminate pseudoprimes. The study covers random primes such as Mersenne primes and Proth primes. Finally, these tests are arranged from the best to the worst according to strength, speed, and effectiveness based on the results obtained through programs prepared and operated by Mathematica, and the results are presented through tables and graphs.

Modern education incorporates strong elements of collaborative learning: activities that prompt students to collaborate on completing learning tasks. In this work we investigate the relationship between media type and student collaboration and attribution patterns during collaborative content creation. We run similarity analyses on text and video artifacts submitted by students as part of collaborative exercises in an undergraduate module. Our main finding is that the same cohort of students was significantly more likely to attribute non-original content to its sources when authoring text compared to video content and when this content is not produced by a peer student. Show MoreIn this work, the adsorption of crystal violet dye from aqueous solution on charcoal and rice husk has been investigated, where the impact of variable factors (contact time; the dosage of adsorbent, pH, temperature, and ionic strength) have been studied. It has been found that charcoal and rice husk have an appropriate adsorption limit with regards to the expulsion of crystal violet dye from fluid arrangements. The harmony adsorption is for all intents and purposes accomplished in 45 min for charcoal and 60 min for rice husk.
