and moral deterioration in modern life. The aim of this research is to investigate some
social issues that touch the core of humanity. In this novel, Conrad's perceptive eyes
has noted so many social issues that need to be tackled. Implicitly and explicitly,
Conrad launches so many controversial issues like : communication and
disengagement or skepticism , conflict between heart and mind ,fate, demonic
identification sense of guilt in man, men , women and homosexuality, the clash
between the civilized and the raw ,the disregarded local people and the disregarded
Chinese , and finally the issue of gossip in society .

This study was planned to evaluate the renal function tests and liver function tests and it carried out in Al-Yarmouk hospital,Baghdad –Iraqin patients withtype 1 and type 2 diabetes mellitus by measuring(uric acid,urea and creatinine) ,Aspartate aminotransferase (AST) and Alanine aminotransferase (ALT). Show MoreThis research was designed to study the effect of water and alcoholic crude extracts of Calvatia craniiformis in vitro and in vivo On the other hand this study tested the toxic effect of both extracts in normal laboratory mice. The results showed that water and alcoholic extracts relatively have an acute toxic effect in mice in respect to LD50 (85 mg/kg, and 177mg/kg respectively).
