This research aims to reveal the impact of applying a teaching course in
gaining and preserving information by female students comparing with the
traditional method, through testing the two following hypotheses:
1. There is no difference with statistical significance at the level of
significance (0.05) between the average grades achieved by the
experimental group of female students taught using a teaching course,
and the control group of female students taught using the traditional
method.
2. There is no difference with statistical significance at the level of
significance (0.05) between the average grades achieved by the
experimental group of female students taught using a teaching course,
and the control group of female students taught using the traditional
method, when repeating the test after a specific period of time.
For this purpose, we applied a field experiment on two female students
groups (experimental group and control group) after preparing all its
requirements and tools. Through the experiment, the two abovementioned
hypotheses were investigated and revealed that the teaching course help
understand and comprehend the scientific concepts which lead to an increase
in female student's grades and improve the student's scientific investigation as
well . Because this course helped organize the contents and clarify the
meaning and relations which simplify the student's comprehension. Moreover,
to contact the new knowledge and whatever preserved information they have.
According to the abovementioned conclusions, the researcher provided
some fruitful suggestions.
In the present work, it had been measured the concentration of radon gas (CRn) for (10) samples of cement used in constructions before and after painting them using enamel paint, purchased from the local markets, to see the extent of its ability to reduce emissions of Rn-222 in the air. These samples were obtained from different sources available in the local markets in Baghdad and other provinces. The measurements were done by the American-made detector (RAD7). In this paper a dynamic behavior and control of a jacketed continuous stirred tank reactor (CSTR) is developed using different control strategies, conventional feedback control (PI and PID), and neural network (NARMA-L2, and NN Predictive) control. The dynamic model for CSTR process is described by a first order lag system with dead time.
The optimum tuning of control parameters are found by two different methods; Frequency Analysis Curve method (Bode diagram) and Process Reaction Curve using the mean of Square Error (MSE) method. The availability of low- cost adsorbent namely Al-Khriet ( a substance found in the legs of Typha Domingensis) as an agricultural waste material, for the removal of lead and cadmium from aqueous solution was investigated. In the batch tests experimental parameters were studied, including adsorbent dosage between (0.2-1) g, initial metal ions concentration between (50-200) ppm (single and binary) and contact time (1/2-6) h. The removal percentage of each ion onto Al-Khriet reached equilibrium in about 4 hours.
