Al-Yaqubi was biased in favor of Shia. May be du to his choice of source, materials. All historians as with other human beings are biased in their attitudes and preconceptions in one degree or another as well as in one direction or another.
The choice of source materials, their nature and the use made of them is an important index for measuring the achievement of ang historian.
Several specific questions arise. What sources did author use that were either unknown to or were not employed by his predecessors and contemporaries for whatever reason?
What sources are common to al- Yaqubi and his colleagues among the early Arab historians and what evidence of tendentiousness can be ascert- ained in these? To what extent can the author's tend be attributed to his selection of sources materials to the way in which he manipulated these? Answers to some of these questions should help to clarify the Relationship between al-Yaqubi's work and those of his historical confreres.
Abstract
This research studies Abu Baker Al-Siddiq’s commandments to the leaders of his armies. The research is organized into an Introduction, three sections, and a Conclusion.
The Introduction presents a definition of Style and Commandment terminologies. It also presents a brief biography of Abu Baker Al-Siddiq may Allah be pleased with him.
The first section explains the characteristics of the Composition and its rhetorical significance. In this Section, I study the types of predicate and the methods of construction in Abu Baker’s commandments and the rhetoric in using the connection and disconnection modifiers in his expressions.

Ten soil samples were collected from Ishaqi project area, Salah Al-Dean Governorate, and analysed for chemical elements (Fe2O3, Al2O3, CaO, K2O Na2O, Co, Zn, Cu, and Pb) to detect the pollution in the study soil using the indices of geo-accumulation (I-geo), contamination factor (CF), and pollution load index (PLI), The results of I-geo indicate that the soil of Ishaqi project area is unpolluted with Pb, Co and slightly polluted with Zn and Cu. Sixteen water samples were collected from the operation units of the Al-Quds
power plant, north Baghdad city and the surrounding trocars, surface and
groundwater, and analyzed to assess the resulting pollution. The samples were
analyzed for heavy metals (As, Cd, Cr, Cu, Mn, Mo, Ni, Pb, Sb, Se, U and Zn) by
using inductively coupled plasma- mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). The results were
compared with local and international and standard limits. Heavy metals analysis of
the water samples shows that water of operation units and trocars have mean
concentrations of As, Cd, Cr, Cu, Mo, Pb, Sb, Se, U and Zn were within or lower
than the national and world limits, while Mn and Ni were higher than these limits.

The aim of this study is to the evaluation of the general hydrogeology condition of the Al-Khassa sub-basin area. Pumping test has been done for five wells in the area. The hydrogeological characteristics (transmissivity, hydraulic conductivity and storage coefficient) were determined in the area by input data which obtained from the pumping test process into the (AquiferWin32, Version 5) software program.
