The steady consumption of fish led many researchers to study it preferences over other foods, especially for radioactivity content. The specific activity concentration (S.A) of natural occurring radioactive materials (NORM) have been measured for Cyprinus carpio fishes collected from several industrial fishes' lakes located in Baghdad governorate using gamma spectroscopy doped with high purity germanium coaxial detector (HPGe). Thirteen fishes' samples were collected from industrial lakes, three samples were collected from cages, and two samples were collected from Trigger River. The last two types of samples were collected in order to compare the results with it. The measured overall averages of S.A for Ra-226, Th-232, and K-40 were 58.

The oil exports play a vital role in supporting economic development and raise the economic growth. The oil exports can increase the economic growth via three main channels which are supporting the productive, distributive and service sectors; increasing the investment and capital formation; and increasing the employment rate.

However, the oil exports did not have an important role in increasing the economic growth in Iraq. Therefore, it also did not provide the required support to other economic sectors, neither participated in increase the employees’ skills nor increase the investment rate. In this paper, the homotopy perturbation method is presented for solving the second kind linear mixed Volterra-Fredholm integral equations. Then, Aitken method is used to accelerate the convergence. In this method, a series will be constructed whose sum is the solution of the considered integral equation. Convergence of the constructed series is discussed, and its proof is given; the error estimation is also obtained. For more illustration, the method is applied on several examples and programs, which are written in MATLAB (R2015a) to compute the results. The absolute errors are computed to clarify the efficiency of the method.
