The study of morphometric tectonic characteristics of Trifaoui Valley Basin and knowledge of tectonic activity in the study area to be a useful tool to identify and measure the tectonic activity. Some indicators have been used for the river basin in order to learn pelvic tilt and symmetry factor asymmetry and cross terrain of the valley was a definitive classification of indicators geomorphological and show off Index (AF) to the pelvis tilted towards the north and this Match with the direction of the public trough. The index (T) Non-displacement of the mainstream of the basin of river from the center of the basin, and the index (SL) to the tectonic activity index (VF) Basin Trifaoui neutral in terms of lifting the tectonic processes of weathering and erosion process, making the floor of the valley take consistent values between the two operations, which gave valuable insight for the activity and tectonic evolution of the study area
A survey of chrysidid wasps and an identification key to the genera from different localities in Iraq are provided. The genus Pseudomalus Ashmead, 1902 with Pseudomalus auratus (Linnaeus) and Omalus timidus (Nurse), are new records from Iraq. As well, a preliminary checklist of Iraq’s Chrysididae is suggested. Twenty species within nine genera in two subfamilies have been included in the current list. Historical information is provided together with remarks on the current taxonomic status and the particular validity for some species.

Because of many anatomical, physiological, and psychological characteristics of the pediatric population, maxillofacial injuries in children should be treated with special consideration that is attributable to certain features inherent in facial growth patterns of children. This study evaluated maxillofacial injuries in 726 children in terms of incidence, patterns of injury, causes, and treatment modalities and compared these parameters among 3 pediatric age groups. The method is based on the oxidation of phenoxazine by potassium (meta)periodate in acidic medium. The oxidation conditions were selected to enhance the sensitivity and the stability of the pink colored species which shows an absorption maximum at 530 nm. The Beer’s law was obeyed for phenoxazine concentration range from 1 to 6 µg mL-1 with 0.003 µg mL-1 detection limit and provided variation coefficients between 0.4 to 1.7 %.
