The enrollment of students in the university represents a new stage in their life that differ from the previous educational stages that student has previously established. It should be noted that students with special needs at the University of Baghdad are not large numbers. It appears that these students have an excel role in their colleges most often, That is, the handicap was not a barrier to their scientific progress, but rather an incentive for them to excel. The recent study was conducted to measure some heavy metal content in potato and corn chips in Baghdad markets. Samples were analyzed by Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS). Four metals, Cobalt (Co), Cadmium (Cd), Cupper (Cu) and Lead (Pb) were determined. Two types belonging to two manufacturer resources and two trademarks for each resource were tested in this work. Generally, the study recorded that the potato chips were containing metals less than the corn chips. According to Iraqi criteria, all tested types of potato chips were under the allowed levels. The mean of accumulation trend for both types was: Cu>Co>Pb>Cd. The mean of accumulation trend for the corn types of chips was: Baz>Pufack> Fantasia > Snack. T

The current research aims to identify the problems and needs for both college of political science and college of engineering’s students. The sample was (100) male and female student. The results showed bunch of problems which could be organized descendingly, the scientific domain ranged between (2 - 2.42), the mean of the psychological domain was (2.85), the moral domain ranged between (2.2 – 2.28)m the problems of study earned (2.30), the material domain got (1.95), the medical and social domain obtained (1.925), and finally, the family domain received (1.887).

     The aim of this research is to identify the effectiveness of thinking skills in developing the life skills of the students of the first Academic year, particularly the differences in life skills according to the variable of study specialization (human-scientific).
