5- Some psychometric properties were conduced:
 The face validity.
 Reliability: Cronbach's alpha was used and the reliability score was (0,75). 6- After the results of statistical analysis for the scale and constancy and validity has been extracted, the researcher eliminated the where (3)items has been eliminated out of (30) items and kepton dicrimnative and statisticaly significant ones leading to the final scale consisting of (27) items. 7- The scale with its final form has been applied on (700) female students from the 3rd and 4th grade in the following universities (Baghdad, Al- Mustansiriha, Al- Nharin) in Baghdad for the academic year (2015-2016). 8- After the process of separation of answers, T-test has been applied on one sample, and the results showed that there were statisticaly signifigant differences at (0,05) level in the ability of femal students in leading where the calculated T- value was (117,35) which was larger than schudeled T- value which was (1,96) and the level of leadership ability among female university students was high. 9- The researcher concluded with anumber of suggestion and recommendations.

Maximum bite force in relation to maximum mouth opening among primary school children
...Show More Authors

Background: The vertical distance between the upper and lower incisal edge of the central incisors when the mouth is opened as wide as possible is called maximum mouth opening (MMO). Any pathological change in the masticatory system had a direct effect on the maximal mouth opening. The aim of this study was to evaluate the relationship between the maximum bite force and the maximum mouth opening among group of children. Materials and methods: Four hundred children of both genders were included in this study, their age ranged from eight to ten years. Anterior and posterior (right, left) bite force were measured using bite force sensor. Maximum mouth opening was evaluated by electronic digital caliper. Data was statistically analyzed

Isolation and Identification of Multidrug Resistance Among Clinical and Environmental Pseudomonas aeruginosa Isolates
...Show More Authors

Pseudomonas aeruginosa is the most common opportunistic pathogen causing morbidity and mortality in hospitalized patients due to its multiple resistance mechanisms. Therefore, as a therapeutic option becomes restricted, the search for a new agent is a preference. So P. aeruginosa is an extremely versatile Gram-negative bacterium capable of thriving in a broad spectrum of environments, and this performs main problems to workers in the field of health. One hundred and fifty samples were collected from different sources from Baghdad hospitals, divided into two main groups: clinical (100) specimens and (50) samples as an environmental, collected from October 2019 to the March 2020. All of these samples were cultured by specific and differential

Refusal and politeness strategies favoured among Iraqi and Malaysian learners in marriage proposals
...Show More Authors

The study targets exploring the similarities and differences between Iraqi and Malaysian learners of English in refusing marriage proposals. Also, it examines the favored politeness strategies that learners use to protect their interlocutors’ face, heeding both their social distance and status. Data were gathered by a Discourse Completion Task (DCT) which contained six marriage situations. Responses were analyzed based on Beebe et al.’s (1990) refusal taxonomy and Scollon et al.’s (2012) politeness system. The findings indicated that both the Iraqi and Malaysian learners preferred the indirect refusal strategies in marriage proposals, as well as the hierarchical politeness in the form of independence strategies regardless of t

Study of Some Hormonal and Biochemical Parameters among Patients with Chronic Liver Diseases
...Show More Authors

It has been revealed previously that chronic liver disease (CLD) may be associated to hormonal fluctuations. The current study, therefore, aimed to evaluate some hormones in CLD patients compared with non-CLD individuals. This case control study was conducted at Gastroenterology and Hepatology Teaching Hospital, Medical city, Baghdad, Iraq during December 2021 to May 2022. One hundred and twenty male patients with CLD (age:14-75 years) and 120 control males (age: 24-70 years) were involved in this study. Serum samples were taken from all individuals and were then analysed for many tests which included hormones (Cortisol, testosterone, prolactin, insulin  and thyroid stimulating hormone TSH); biochemical analysis (Prothrombin time

Examining the Seasonal Correlations Among Different Ionospheric Indices During Solar Cycle Twenty-Four
...Show More Authors

The present work aimed to examine the nature and degree of the cross-correlations among three different ionospheric indices: these are Optimum Working Frequency (OWF), Highest Probable Frequency (HPF), and Best Usable Frequency (BUF). VOCAP and ASASPS models were adopted to determine the datasets of the selected ionospheric indices. The determination was made for different transceiver stations that provide certain HF connection links during the minimum and maximum years of solar cycle 24, 2009 and 2014, respectively. Matlab program was implemented to produce the geodesic parameters for the selected transceiver stations. The determination was made for different path lengths (500, 1000, 1500, and 2000) Km and bearings (0o, 45
