يهدف البحث إلى استقصاء أثر دراسة طالبات كلية العلوم للبنات في جامعة بغداد لمقرر التلوث البيئي في تنمية اتجاهاتهن البيئية، وذلك من خلال التعرّف على النمو في المستوى العام لاتجاهات الطالبات البيئية والكشف عن الفروق الإحصائية في اتجاهاتهن قبل وبعد دراسة المقرر.

Translating culture-specific proverbs (CSPs) is a challenging task since they often occur in a peculiar context. Further, CSPs are intended to imply meanings that extend far beyond the literal meaning of such a kind of proverbs. This is the first record of a new species of cyanobacteria Westiellopsis akinetica in the Iraqi environment, Samples were collected on June 2013 and the existence of it was not documented before. We isolated and purified this species ten years ago in Iraq, but we couldn't identify accurately based on all taxonomic handbooks. This research investigates the engagement of the Iraqi audience with ethnographic programs and their impact on knowledge enhancement and intellectual perspectives. A questionnaire consisting of closed-ended questions was designed and administered to a purposive sample of 400 participants who exclusively follow ethnographic programs and documentary channels.
