Abstract:
Al-Marba'aniyah, which is a long cold wave, was defined by ancient
Iraqis. It represents the coldest days in Iraq. In this research paper, a new
scale was put to define it. It shows that the period between the minimum
temperature degree recoded in December and the minimum temperature
degree recorded in January is considered to be the period of Al-Marba'aniyah.
The research concluded that Al-Marba'aniyah is unsteady and it changes in
the days of its occurrence. It was also concluded that the dates of the
beginning and the end of Al-Marba'aniyah are unsteady, too. Moreover, it was
found out that each of the Siberian high, European high, and finally the
subtropical high are the responsible systems for the beginning and the end of
Al-Marba'aniyah. In addition to this, it was concluded that during the evolution
of Al-Marba'aniyah, the tropical ridge (Geopotential high 500 mb)
enormously associates with the surface high pressure and that, during the
decay of Al- Al-Marba'aniyah, the cold troughs enormously associates with the
surface high pressure.
This study examines the news values employed by regional news agencies in the selection and dissemination of news concerning Iraqi affairs. Content analysis was conducted on a purposive sample of 596 news articles sourced from official websites of news agencies, including Iraqi, Turkish, and Iranian agencies. The research aims to identify the underlying criteria used by these agencies in determining news suitability for publication.

The research aims to identify the possibility of applying environmental fines to commercial shops and restaurants to reduce the environmental pollution represented by the wastes generated from them. The aim of the study is to reveal the effect of the constructivist learning Model on the achievement and reflective thinking of the fifth grade literary Preparatory students in History subject. A random sample was chosen which consisted of 64 students divided into experimental and control groups, each group consisted of 32 students. The experimental group was taught via the constructivist learning model, and the control group was taught via the traditional method. The experiment was lasted for Eight weeks, each week taught two lessons. The researcher adopted the experimental design with partial control. The two groups were equalized statistically.
