Abstract:
If we neglect the value of historical fashions as a source of inspiration for
contemporary fashion designers we will neglect a treasure of original designs.
In neglecting such a treasure how could we then know what is original. Today
the most famous fashion designers are often inspired, in the outwardly from
and internal lines of their fashions, by fashion designed during the ages of the
past.
Designers can find such fashions in books of history and museums. But
the historical ages are not equal in the fertility of the originality and novelty of
their fashions. Thus the contemporary designer may not find the old designs
inspiring so he invents them.
The researcher was keen in this paper to include all the basic concept of
the art of patchwork 3? and she referred to the historical background of this
art as well as its common tools . She also referred to the art of embroidery
and beadwork ... etc.
To connect the pieces with this classy art (patchwork)/
She discussed some modern producing techniques such as computer. (The
study ends with conclusion that suggests designs of the art of patchwork. the
paper included io suggested designs.)
The study includes inventive ideas. In order words producing great variety
from one idea or design with great intellectual and expensive freedom and
flexibility in prescribing the creative ideas that are original.
The paper is of tow parts. First is the theoretical part which is chapter two
of the study that tackles the studies related to the subject mentioned above.
The practical part includes a brief explanation of the steps of producing the
designs and their supplements. This proves that the art of patchwork is a
beautiful art, fit for artistic designs. Hence such designs are not less important
and beautiful than other designs that are not based on patchwork.
The researcher likes to bring the old to the era of development and
technology to make use of it and crystallize our artistic talents.
Therefore the study aims to preserve the art of patchwork with the addition of
modern and artistic touches with little cost as much as possible.
The childhood stage is considered the most important stage of all the stages through
the human being’s life. In this stage the human being will be more affected by the various
factors that surround him/her. The first five years of his/her life leave a great impact not only
on the human being personality, but also on his/her whole life. Therefore, it is worthwhile tobe concerned with and focus at the raising up and the teaching of the child during the

Portland Cement is manufactured by adding 3% gypsum to clinker which is produced by grinding, pulverizing, mixing, and then burning a raw mix of silica, and calcium carbonate. Limestone is the main source of carbonates, while clay collected from arable land is the main source of silica. The marl in the Euphrates Formation was studied as an alternative to arable lands. Nine boreholes drilled and penetrated the marl layer in selected locations at the Kufa cement quarry. In this work, the preparation of some new oxazolidine and thiazolidine derivatives has been conducted. This was done over two steps; the first step included the synthesis of Schiff bases A1-A5 in 72-88% yields by the condensation of isonicotinic acid hydrazide and aldehydes. The second step includes the cyclization of derivatives A1-A5 with glycolic acid and thioglycolic acid to obtain the desired products, oxazolidine derivatives B1-B5 (44-60% yields) and thiazolidine derivatives C1-C5 (41-61% yields), respectively. The structure of the prepared compounds was characterized using FT-IR, 1H NMR, and 13C NMR spectroscopy. Some of the produced compounds were tested for antioxidant properties.

Secnidazole was linked with ciprofloxacin as mutual prodrugs to get antibiotics with broader spectrum of activity, improved physicochemical properties and given by single dose to improve patient’s compliance. Furthermore, they provide structural modifications to overcome bacterial adaptation. The structures of the synthesized compounds were confirmed using FT-IR, mass spectrometry, elemental microanalysis (CHNO) and some physiochemical properties. The Mesopotamian marshlands faced a massive destruction from many years and this lead to effect to ecosystem. In this study a survey was made on the physical chemical and heavy metals characteristics and microbiological analysis of AL Chibaish marsh during the two months. Water analyses revealed unacceptable values for almost all physiochemical and biological properties, according to WHO standard limits for drinking water.
