Nicotiana tobaccum L (Solanacea) extracts are used as a mollusciede to the snail Bulinus truncatus the intermediate host of urinary Schistosomiasis. LC50 of the extracts to the snail with 24 hour was 3.27 ml/l? 48 hour was 3.33 ml/l? 72 hour was 2.67 ml/l and 96 hour was 2.28ml/l. This study showed the ability to use the leaf extracts in the control of this type of snail.

In this study the melting point and hardness of the paraffin wax was improved by mixing it with 1:1 ratio of micro crystalline wax then adding weight percentage wt% of locally produced nano particles (CuO,ZnO,AI2O3 and bentonite ) for each addition to the wax mixture. The results showed an increase in the melting point and hardness values of the prepared samples by increasing the weight percentage of each nano particles additives. . It was found that the addition of nano bentonite to the wax mixture gave high melting point values (122.5°C)and hardness (81.2)followed by melting point value (97°C)and hardness(68.2)resulting from the addition of CuO nano particles to the wax mixture compared to other used nano particles.

This study was conducted to investigate the presence of Staphylococcus aureus in the red and white meat available in local markets. They were selected ten samples of red and white meat randomly (Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Brazil) from different markets in Baghdad, and the results of reading the nutrition facts of media indication card showed that all models confirm to the Iraqi standard quality in terms of scanning all data of the media indication card, except for the birds of Bayader, where the date of expire & production date of the product was not mentioned.      This study aims to determine the exposure of dentists to radiation resulting from the use of light therapy units and to assess their risk and impact on dental clinics.  This study was conducted in private dental clinics in the city of Erbil in northern Iraq. Surveys were conducted to collect information about light-curing units.
