En este artículo se indaga sobre fenómenos como la metáfora, la metonimia, la polisemia, y la homonimia en las lenguas árabe y española, según la teoría cognitiva, basada en el pensamiento y la práctica lingüística. Esta teoría intenta investigar la relación entre el lenguaje humano, la mente y la experiencia. En realidad, los fenómenos que estudiaremos crean ambigüedad léxica y sintáctica tanto en árabe como en español. Además, dichos conceptos tienen sus propias características, especificaciones y formas en cada lengua.

This research presents a statistical study of radiation generated from communication towers in the Nineveh Plain region Baghdeda. The intensity of radiation energy was measured at 10 meters away from the communication tower in different locations, using a (1PC XH-901 Dosimeter/ Personal Dose Alarm / Radiation Detector, dosage rate: 0.01 μSv/h to 150μSv/h) to measure the amount of radiation at various times. Energy densities were measured and compared with standard limits provided by other authorities, such as the International Committee for Radiation Protection. Um-Al-Naaj region in Al-Hawiezah Marsh, Southern Iraq was chosen to study the environmental variations of some water characteristics during 2008, seasonally. The results showed clear seasonal changes in values of some environmental variables (temperature, depth, light penetration, turbidity, total suspended solids, pH, dissolved oxygen, reactive phosphate, reactive nitrite, and reactive nitrate), while there were no clear seasonal changes in electrical conductivity and salinity values.
