In this study ZnS thin film was prepared by using thermal evaporation vacuum technique under the pressure (10-6) Torr on glass substrate at room temperature and annealing at 523 K Samples were irradiated to CO2 laser of power (1 watt) and wave length (10.6) μm at distance 10 cm from the source during (5 sec). The absorbance spectra was recorded by using UV-visible spectrophotometer and used to calculated some of optical properties investigated including their transmittance, reflectance spectra, energy gap, and extinction coefficient. The use of bio-fruit waste has more attention in recent years because of the low cost of bio-fibers and the protection of the environment. In this study, the epoxy was reinforced with fruit residues (cantaloupe peel powder) in proportions (1%, 2%, 3%, 4%, 5%, 7.5%, and 10% by weight) as results of mechanical tests such as impact, hardness, flexural and compression.

Adding sub microns particle size cantaloupe peels particles with a weight ratio of 7.5% improves the epoxy mechanical properties, like impact strength, hardness, flexural strength, and compression strength by 59.43%, 5.8%, 45.7%, and 118.2%, respectively.

Using X-ray diffraction, the crystallite size ( D) of cantaloupe peel the powder was about (3 nm).

different instruments of Geonics EM 34-3 and EMI6R respectively) have been applied to
evaluate their ability in delineation and measuring the depth of shallow subsurface cavities
near Haditha city.
Thirty one survey traverses were achieved to distinguish the subsurface cavities in the
