The aim of this work is to study the factors that affect the welding joint of dissimilar metals. Austenitic stainless steel-type AISI (316L) with a thickness of (2mm) was welded to carbon steel (1mm) using an MIG spot welding.  The filler metal is a welding wire of the type E80S-G (according to AWS) is used with (1.2mm) diameter and CO₂ is used as shielding gas with flow rate (7L/min) for all times was used in this work.

The Web Design Quality Index, known as WDQI, was applied to assess the quality of websites for six Iraqi universities, namely Basra University, Mosul, Muthanna, Samarra, Dijla University College, and Al-Isra University College. The results of the index showed that the universities of Basra and Dijla University College had the highest value, at 71.07 and 70.39, respectively. Its final evaluation metric was that the website of these two universities needed a slight improvement. As for the rest of the other universities, the final values of the index ranged from 64.72-69.71. In this study, the response and behavior of machine foundations resting on dry and saturated sand was investigated experimentally. A physical model was manufactured to simulate steady state harmonic load at different operating frequencies. The effect of relative density, depth of embedment, foundation area as well as the imposed harmonic load was investigated. It was found that the amplitude of displacement of the foundation increases with increasing the amplitude of dynamic force and operating frequency meanwhile it decreases with increasing the relative density of sand, degree of saturation, depth of embedment and contact area of footing. The current study dealt with the effect of water extract of pomegranate peel plant on Oscillatoria amoena growth  that isolated from Diwaniya river, The effect of the pomegranate extract was measured by calculating the total number of cells and the absorbance values of the alga. Three concentrations were used 3.5, 7 and 14 mg/ml from extract of pomegranate fruit peel in addition to the control group. The results showed that exposing the alga to concentrate 14 mg/ml led to lower growth sharply, while the rest of the concentrations 3.5 and 7 mg/ml also decreased the growth gradually. The absorbance values showed a decline similar to the number of cells during the period of the exposure.

In the current study, we investigate the effect of  (La) substitution  instead of (Cu) on the properties of the superconductor compound  (Bi2Sr2Ca2Cu3-xLaxO10+δ)  with (x=0,0.05,0.1,0.15,0.2). The samples were  prepared  by solid state reaction method(SSR). In this work an experimental study of deposited silver nanoparticles on the core of optical fiber end at different time based on photodeposition technique is presented. The results demonstrated that the concentration of silver nanoparticles deposited on the core of optical fiber end was effected by the deposition time. The photodeposition system was fabricated using multi-mode optical fiber and laser diode source. The results show that the silver deposition concentration increases linearly with the deposition time.
