A low speed open circuit wind tunnel has been designed, manufactured and constructed at the Mechanical Engineering Department at Baghdad University - College of Engineering. The work is one of the pioneer projects adapted by the R & D Office at the Iraqi MOHESR. The present paper describes the first part of the work; that is the design calculations, simulation and construction. It will be followed by a second part that describes testing and calibration of the tunnel. The proposed wind tunnel has a test section with cross sectional area of (0.7 x 0.7 m2) and length of (1.5 m). The maximum speed is about (70 m/s) with empty test section. The contraction ratio is (8.16). Three screens are used to minimize flow disturbances in the test section.

The plant occupied the largest area in the biosynthesis of silver nanoparticles, especially the medicinal plants, and it has shown great potential in biotechnology applications. In this study, green synthesis of silver nanoparticles from Moringa oleifera leaves extract and its antifungal and antitumor activities were investigated. The formation of silver nanoparticles was observed after 1 hour of preparation color changing. This paper is carried out to detect the subsurface structures that have geological
and economical importance by interpreting the available reflection seismic data of
an area estimated to be about (740) km2. The Khashim Al-Ahmer structure is partial
of series structures of (Injana – Khashim Al-Ahmer – Mannsorya) from the (NW to
the SE), it is located within for deep faulted area. The component of the one
elongated dome of asymmetrical of structure which has(SW) limb more steeper than
the (NE) limb.Twenty three seismic sections had been interpreted for two seismic
surveys and the total length of all seismic lines is about (414.7) Km. Interpretation
of seismic data was focused on two reflectors (Fatha and Jeribi)
