The Commonest Negative Behavioral Manifestations among Kindergarten Children in the Post-Terrorist Phase: شيماء حارث محمد , امل داود سليم
...Show More Authors

Behavioral and emotional disorders represent one of the commonest problems facing children in particular and disturbing their parents and educators in general. This is because Iraqi people have long been living in difficult conditions and faced various terrorists’ operations, such as killing, destruction, robbery, and looting. Such operations are said to be one of the reasons that leads to the development of such disorders, and may negatively affect the psyche of the child and be reflected on his behavior as represented by playing with the IPad for hours, and suffering from nightmares. Accordingly, the current research aims to examine specifically the commonest negative behavioral disorders among kindergarten children during the post-terrorist phase. To achieve this objective, the researchers prepared a tool for measuring the commonest behavioral manifestations among kindergarten children, and distributed it to a sample of (160) children’s female teachers and mothers; each using a multi-stage method. Results have shown that the computed value of (t-test) reached (17.793) for female teachers’ estimations and (6,653) for mother's estimations. That is, the computed value is greater than the tabulated, (1.96), at the level of significance (0.05) and degree of freedom (159.( The highest degree of severity belongs to the behavioral aspect of playing with the iPad for long hours according to the teachers’ estimates. It has scored (3.843) with a weight percentage that is equal to (96.075). However, the same behavioral aspect has a severity degree that is equal to (3.59) with a weight percentage reaches (89.825) from the parent’s perspectives. As for the second manifestation, thinking of the death of a family member, its severity has scored (3.593) with a weight percentage of (89.82) according to the parents’ estimates, whereas the severity degree of the behavioral manifestation, suffering from disturbing dreams and nightmares, is (3.55) with a weight percentage....

The Acute Effect of Sodium Chloride on the Zooplankton Crustaceans Daphnia pulex (Crustacea: Cladocera)
...Show More Authors

The present study included the effect of acute exposure of different concentrations of sodium chloride on the Zooplankton Crustacean Daphnia pulex which belong to the order Cladocera. The lethal concentrations killing 50% of the population (LC50) after 24hrs and 48hrs were 2.95‰ and 2.63‰ respectively While lethal concentrations killing 100%  of the population (LC100) and non lethal concentrations (LC0) were 6‰ and 0.5‰ after 24hrs of exposure to NaCl. The acute exposure of the Crustacean Daphnia pulex showed increasing in mortality percentages with increasing the concentrations and exposure time

The Effect of Wind Velocity on the Suppression of Composite Wing Airfoil NACA 0012

The first studies on shocks and vibrations were carried out at the beginning of the 1930s to improve the behavior of buildings during earthquakes. Vibration tests on aircraft were developed from 1940 to verify the resistance of parts and equipments prior to their first use. Flutter is a well-known example of dynamic aero elasticity, where when oscillation of structure interacted with unsteady aerodynamic forces the flutter will occur. Vibration on any structure without damping means that self-harmonic oscillation will occur, and in most cases the oscillation may start to increase until structural failure. This behavior is very similar to resonance phenomena if only the oscillation is being studied as a vibration case. In vibration suppre

The Effect of TCE Addition on the Performance of Catalytic Isomerization of n-Hexane
...Show More Authors

n-Hexane conversion enhancement was studied by adding TCE (Trichloro-ethylene) on feed stream using 0.3%Pt/HY zeolite catalyst. All experiments were achieved at atmospheric pressure and on a continuous laboratory unit with a fixed bed reactor at a temperature range 240-270◦C, LHSV 1-3h-1, H2/nC6 mole ratio 1-4.
By adding 435 ppm of TCE, 49.5 mole% conversion was achieved at LHSV 1h-1, temperature of 270ºC and H2/nC6 mole ratio of 4, while the conversion was 18.3 mol% on the same catalyst without adding TCE at the same conditions. The activation energy decreased from 98.18 for pure Pt/HY zeolite to 82.83 kJ/mole by adding TCE. Beside enhancement the activity, selectivity and product distribution enhanced by providing DMB (Dimethyl b

Solutins of Systems for the Linear Fredholm-Volterra Integral Equations of the Second Kind
...Show More Authors

In this paper, we present some numerical methods for solving systems of linear FredholmVolterra integral equations of the second kind. These methods namely are the Repeated Trapezoidal Method (RTM) and the Repeated Simpson's 1/3 Method (RSM). Also some numerical examples are presented to show the efficiency and the accuracy of the presented work.

Linguistic features of the semantic translation of the Holy Quran from Arabic into Russian
...Show More Authors

This article discusses some linguistic problems that arise when translating the Holy Quran from Arabic to Russian. We analyze lexical, syntactic and semantic problems and support them with Examples of verses from the Qur'an, since the Qur'an is the word of Allah. It contains prayers and instructions full of both literal representations and figurative comparisons. The identification of linguistic and rhetorical features challenges translators of the Holy Qur'an, especially when translating such literary devices as metaphor, assonance, epithet, irony, repetition, polysemy, metonymy, comparisons, synonymy and homonymy. The article analyzes: metaphor, metonymy, ellipsis, polysemy.

Effect of Temperature On The Dispersability Of The Grafted Acrylic Acid Onto Alumina Particles
...Show More Authors

The ability of different alumina-grafted particles was examined for adsorption of phenol and p-chlorophenol under different conditions (i.e. concentrations and temperatures). Dispersion stability of alumina in liquid medium (water) was studied using settling under gravity technique. The result shows the settling initial rate of the alumina-grafted acrylic acid particles was faster than initial rate of settling when alumina-graft acrylic acid monomer adsorbed phenol and p-chlorophenol and vice versa to the alumina-graft poly(acrylic acid) polymer.

Thermodynamic parameters values (DG, DS, DH) were calculated for adsorption processes of phenol and p-chlorophenol adsorbed onto different surfaces. The

Three formations were studied from seven outcrops extend from Surdash to
Shaqlawa (Cenomanian – Santonian), they comprise Dokan, Gulneri and Kometan
Formations. Four microfacies and eight submicrfacies are identified depending on

deposited in open-marine deep shelf environment; it could be deposited at deeper
shelf to slope and basinal settings. While Gulneri Formation deposited in open sea
shelf, as well as at outer shelf settings, the sediments consist of organic–carbon rich
