The current research aims to determine the requirements of Trends of International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS 2019) and to find out the extent to which the content of science textbooks for grades (1-4) in the Sultanate of Oman includes the requirements of (TIMSS 2019). Find sample consisted of 52 students were divided into two groups, the first experimental studied strategy cartoon concepts and the control group was studied in the traditional manner of parity between the two variables (chronological age, the overall rate, prior knowledge, the degree of intelligence, visual) thinking.

This study aimed to measure the innovative thinking and cognitive cessation among university students. The sample consisted of (400) male and female students at al Mustansiriya University for the academic year (2018/2019). The results of the study showed that there are differences in innovative thinking and cognitive inhibition according to the gender variable in favor of males.
