The research endeavored to achieve the following aim :
1- Measuring the level of peripheral perception for the university student .
2- Measuring the level of need for cognition for the university student .
3- Measuring the level of peripheral perception for the university student

This research aims to identify the level of Voluntary work among university students, and explore the statistical differences of voluntary work among students due the gender and major. A total of (400) male and female student from morning study were selected as a sample to achieve the research's objectives. Al-Malaki (2010) scale was adopted to collect the required data. The results revealed that men take massive part in voluntary work than women, and students of human sciences showed significant differences than those of other majors.   

The study seeks to examine the level of personal efficacy and its relation to mental alertness among university students. Besides, the statistically significant differences in regard of students' gender, and the correlation between male and female. To do this, the researcher adopted two scales: one to measure the personal efficacy which was made up by (abed al-jabaar, 2010) included (26) items, and the other to measure the mental alertness that designed by (abed Allah, 2012) included (36) items. A total of (120) student were selected randomly from three-different colleges at the Al-Mustansiriyah University for the academic year 2016-2017. Abstract

The current study aims to identify the resilience of university students, as well as identify the differences in resilience according to the variable of gender and specialization. The research sample consisted of (382) students studying at Baghdad University. To measure Resilience, a questionnaire of (48) items was designed to collect the needed data. The results showed that the students of the University of Baghdad possess resilience. There are no differences in resilience according to gender and specialization.

The study aimed to identify the future thinking skills of university students and which of these skills are prevalent. The sample of the study consisted of (400) male and female students from the university students. In order to achieve the goals of the research, the researcher built a measure of future thinking skills based on Torrance theory (2003). Psychometric properties of the standards were extracted, which are represented by honesty and consistency and the application of the measures to the research sample. The researchers found that Future thinking skills of university students, and that the skill of future planning is the most common skill among the research sample.
