The marine collagens are biocompatible and biodegradable materials that are considered as a biomimetic approach for tissue regeneration. Total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG) and high-density lipoprotein, C-reactive protein (CRP), interleukin-6 (IL-6), tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α), and malondialdehyde (MDA) were measured .
