Process in the Acquisition of Rhetorical Concepts of Students in The Fifth Grade Literary
...Show More Authors

To investigate the research objectives, the researchers put the following hypothesis:

There was no statistically significant difference at the level of (0.05) between the average score of the students of the experimental group who studied the language of rhetoric according to model of learning method, and the average score of the students of the control group who studied the same article in the traditional way acquiring rhetorical concept.    The researchers relied on the experimental design with the partial setting of the post-test, which depends on the experimental group that is taught using the model of the learning method, and the control group taught using the traditional method.   The research sample consists of (69) female students, (34) students in the experimental group, and (35) students in the control group, the differences between the two groups in (age, intelligence) have been considered. Then, the researchers tried to adjust a number of extraneous variables that may affect the dependent variable. The researchers studied the two research groups and included the following subjects: Courage, Genetics, Disability, and Interview. In order to conduct the research experiment, the researchers identified the rhetorical concepts in the three chapters, which reached (8) historical concepts, and formulated behavioral goals in the light of their acquisition processes (concept definition, concept differentiation, concept application) Writing instructional plans and preparing the acquisition test of rhetorical concepts.

Copulas in Classical Probability Sense
...Show More Authors

Copulas are simply equivalent structures to joint distribution functions. Then, we propose modified structures that depend on classical probability space and concepts with respect to copulas. Copulas have been presented in equivalent probability measure forms to the classical forms in order to examine any possible modern probabilistic relations. A probability of events was demonstrated as elements of copulas instead of random variables with a knowledge that each probability of an event belongs to [0,1]. Also, some probabilistic constructions have been shown within independent, and conditional probability concepts. A Bay's probability relation and its pro

Statistical Analysis of the Removal of Acid Fuchsin Dye Using Zeolite 5A
...Show More Authors

Investigation of the adsorption of acid fuchsin dye (AFD) on Zeolite 5A is carried out using batch scale experiments according to statistical design. Adsorption isotherms, kinetics and thermodynamics were demonstrated.  Results showed that the maximum removal efficiency was using zeolite at a temperature of 93.68751 mg/g. Experimental data was found to fit the Langmuir isotherm and pseudo second order kinetics with maximum  removal of about 95%.  Thermodynamic analysis showed an endothermic adsorption. Optimization was made for the most affecting operating variables and a model equation for the predicted efficiency was suggested.

Frames of Al-Alam TV channel’s handling of the Iraqi and Lebanese protests Analytical study of the main news bulletin for the period from October 1, 2019, to December 31, 2019
...Show More Authors

In October 2019, Iraq and Lebanon witnessed widespread protests, which aroused the interest of the media, as they began with demands for the provision of services, then escalated with the overthrow of the political system. The researchers chose a satellite channel that represents a direction for a country accused of entering the line of protests. This paper aims to analyze the main bulletin of Al-Alam channel to find out how it deals with the protests in the news. It is classified descriptively, using the survey method and the method of content analysis. The study community was represented by the main news bulletin of Al-Alam channel. The researchers adopted a deliberate sample for the period from 1/10/2019 to

Directional fluctuating asymmetry in certain morphological characters as a pollution indicator: Tigris catfish (<i>Silurus triostegus</i>) collected from the Euphrates, Tigris, and Shatt al-Arab Rivers in Iraq
...Show More Authors
Abstract<p>The relationship between pollution levels in river sediment and fluctuating asymmetry of resident silurid fish species, Silurus triostegus Heckel, was assessed. Eight bilateral body proportions were analyzed in 1,500 fish from eight river locations. Sediment pollution was measured based on the analysis of heavy metals (Cd, Cr, Cu, Ni, Pb and Zn) and organochlorine pesticides (DDT, DDD, DDE, chlordane, dieldrin, and lindane). The mean quotient approach (mERMq) was used to characterize sediment toxicity, which ranged from low to moderate levels for heavy metals and from low to severe for organochlorides. Variation was noted in the measurements of fish body mor</p> ... Show More

The crude enzyme Nattokinase produced by Bacillus subtilis was used in ripening cheddar cheese by adding three concentration of enzyme 80, 160 and 320mg/Kg beside the control treatment without enzyme, the product was checked for three months to determine humidity, protein, fat, non-protein nitrogen, soluble nitrogen and pH, sensory evaluation was conducted, it was noticed that the variety in protein percentages and the soluble nitrogen percentage during second month of ripening for T2, T3 and T4 treatments were (11.2, 15.54 and 18.48) respectively, in comparison with control which was 7.6%, while in the third month it was (17.37, 20.67 and 22.26) respectively, in comparison with control which was only 10%, on the other hand, non-protein

Translation & Adaptation of(Patterns) & (Assembly) Scales of The Flanagan Aptitude Classification Tests (FACT)
...Show More Authors

The Flanagan Aptitude Classification Tests (FACT) assesses aptitudes that are important for successful performance of particular job-related tasks. An individual's aptitude can then be matched to the job tasks. The FACT helps to determine the tasks in which a person has proficiency. Each test measures a specific skill that is important for particular occupations. The FACT battery is designed to provide measures of an individual's aptitude for each of 16 job elements.

The FACT consists of 16 tests used to measure aptitudes that are important for the successful performance of many occupational tasks. The tests provide a broad basis for predicting success in various occupational fields. All are paper and pen

Nanoparticles Used in Treatment and Diagnosis of Leishmaniasis in Iraq: A Review
...Show More Authors

The aim of this paper is to identify Nano-particles that have been used in diagnosis and treatment of leishmaniasis in Iraq. All experiments conducted in this field were based on the following nanoparticles: gold nanoparticles, silver nanoparticles, zinc nanoparticles, and sodium chloride nanoparticles. Most of these experiments were reviewed in terms of differences in the concentrations of nanoparticles and the method that was used in the experiments whether it was in vivo or in vitro. These particles used in most experiments succeeded in inhibiting the growth of Leishmania parasites.
