The aim of the study is to reveal the effect of the constructivist learning Model on the achievement and reflective thinking of the fifth grade literary Preparatory students in History subject. A random sample was chosen which consisted of 64 students divided into experimental and control groups, each group consisted of 32 students. The experimental group was taught via the constructivist learning model, and the control group was taught via the traditional method. The experiment was lasted for Eight weeks, each week taught two lessons. The researcher adopted the experimental design with partial control. The two groups were equalized statistically. The researcher used two instruments, the achievement test and the reflective thinking test.

The filter strip’s soil can help in reducing the runoff volume by infiltration. Abstract The study aimed at demonstrating the reality of sectarian coexistence in Iraq, which was characterized by the tolerance and coercion caused by the successive government policies to govern Iraq and to this day. The study was based on the hypothesis that coexistence between Islamic sects in Iraq can be achieved as long as there are strong bonds linking its components, and these bonds can produce coexistence between the sects based on peace. The study concluded that the hypothesis is correct, in addition to drawing a set of observations aimed at identifying weaknesses for advancing them through the adoption of mechanisms that address these weaknesses to yield towards a genuine peaceful coexistence among Islamic sects in Iraq.

The effects of temperature on an exotic aquatic snail Pomacea canaliculata  (Lamarck, 1819) collected from the Shatt Al-Arab intertidal zone were investigated. A series of laboratory experiments were conducted during the summer period of 2017. Individuals of new born snails hatched in the laboratory from adult snails were collected from Shatt Al-Arab intertidal zone, and subjected to five fixed temperatures: 15, 25, 35, 40 and 45 Cº, after short term thermal acclimation. The heartbeats (HB) were counted at each temperature level.
