Reading Readiness Skills in Preschool Children

This research aims to identify the following :

  • The reading willingness skill to kindergarten children.
  • There is no statistical significance difference between average scores of reading willingness skill of the sample individuals as a whole, and the hypothetical average of the scale.
  • The difference in reading willingness skill to kindergarten children according to gender variable (male & female).
  • There is no statistical significance difference between average scores of reading willingness skill for kindergarten children according to gender variable (male & female).

   To achieve the research goals, the researcher adopted the test of (Alkhafa-2014) for reading willingness skill, as it's consisted of seven skills: Visual recognition, Audio recognition, Audiovisual recognition, Optical recognition, Audio memory, Visual tracking, pronunciation and speaking skill.

The Role of Home –Made Meals in Meeting the Dietary Requirements For the Kindergarten Children

This research has been applied on 100 children (age 4 – 6 years) from three kindergartens distributed on basis of 43 children from the college of Education for women kindergarten (A) , 27 children from the governmental Al- Mustafa kindergarten (B) , and 30 children from the private Al – Baraom kindergarten (C) . Functional outcome of closed reduction of supracondylar humerus fracture with cross Kirschner wire in children

Objective: To evaluate the functional outcome of percutaneous cross two K wires fixation for Gartland types II and III fractures of humerus. Methodology: This prospective study included80 patients with supracondylar humeral fracture, who underwent closed reduction and fixation by two crossed Kirschner wires. We included children with age < 15 years with closed fractures with Gartland types II and III, while the patient with vascular injury, open, irreducible fractures were excluded. Background: Nutritional Rickets is a condition produced by an absence of Vitamin D, calcium or phosphate. It clues to relaxing and fading of the bones. Dental expression of children with rickets contains enamel hypoplasia and delayed tooth eruption. This study was conducted in order to assess caries experience (dmfs) and enamel defects among study and control groups, and to evaluate and compare the levels of selected salivary biomarkers between children with nutritional rickets and apparently healthy children.
