In many countries there are national committees for the implementation of international humanitarian law that aim to advise and assist their governments in implementing international humanitarian law and spreading knowledge about it. The responsibility for the formation of these committees rests with the states, supported by the International Committee of the Red Cross, as one of the ways to ensure the effective implementation of international humanitarian law. The national committees for international humanitarian law seek to urge governments to implement and ensure respect for international humanitarian law and to contribute to its enforcement and dissemination at the national level.

The study area lies in the northern part of Iraq, This study depends on one scene of Thematic Mapper (TM5) data of Landsat, these data are subset by using region of interest (ROI) file within the ERDAS 9.2 software. RS and GIS have been used as tools for detecting the desertification during the periods 1990-2000-2009 by using Normalized Difference Vegetation Index NDVI, Water Index WI and Barren Land Index BLI. The indicators of Desertification which used in this study for period  1990-2000 and 2000-2009 are represented by decrease the vegetation cover and increase water body and barren land.

      This research aims at making a comparative survey between the dry season in (2017-2018) and the wet season (2018-2019) in Iraq concerning the variation of rainfall and pressure systems responsible for such a difference. In this paper, seven climatological stations have been selected: Mosul, Kirkuk, Khanaqin, Baghdad, Rutba, Diwaniyah and Basra. Background: Toxoplasmosis is a common zoonotic disease affecting one-third of the world population with potentially serious health implications.

Aim of the study: To find the prevalence and risk factors of Toxoplasma gondii infection among females in Al-Anbar, Iraq. 

Methodology: Over an eight-month period from (1^st November 2021 to 30^th June 2022), 200 females visiting private veterinary clinics in Al-Anbar (92 owned cats) participated in this prospective study.
