Structuralism and the Problem of Text

All modern critical approaches attempt to cover the meanings and overtones of the text, claiming that they are better than others in the analysis and attainment of the intended meanings of the text. The structural approach claims to be able to do so more than any other modern critical approach, as it claimed that it is possible to separate what is read from the reader, on the presumed belief that it is possible to read the text with a zero-memory. However, the studies in criticism of criticism state that each of these approaches is successful in dealing with the text in one or more aspects while failing in one or more aspects. Consequently, the criticism whether the approach possesses the text, or that the text rejects this possession, remains in search for its completion in different approaches. Therefore, the rivalry between modern critical approaches remained in order to avoid incomplete coverage of the text. But, can the complete coverage of the text be achieved?

This question remains, in its essence, a philosophical one. Therefore, can we find an objective answer for it?

Nurse Scheduling Problem Using Hybrid Simulated Annealing Algorithm

Placement Inverse Source Problem under Partition Hyperbolic Equation

In this article, the inverse source problem is determined by the partition hyperbolic equation under the left end flux tension of the string, where the extra measurement is considered. The approximate solution is obtained in the form of splitting and applying the finite difference method (FDM). Moreover, this problem is ill-posed, dealing with instability of force after adding noise to the additional condition. To stabilize the solution, the regularization matrix is considered. Consequently, it is proved by error estimates between the regularized solution and the exact solution. The numerical results show that the method is efficient and stable.

Harmony-Scatter Search to Solve Travelling Salesman Problem

This paper presents a hybrid metaheuristic algorithm which is Harmony-Scatter Search (HSS). The HSS provides Scatter Search (SS) with random exploration for search space of problem and more of diversity and intensification for promising solutions. The SS and HSS have been tested on Traveling Salesman Problem. A computational experiment with benchmark instances is reported. The results demonstrate that the HSS algorithm produce better performance than original Scatter Search algorithm. The HSS in the value of average fitness is 27.6% comparing with original SS.
