The performance of photovoltaic (PV) panel having staggered metal foam fins was examined experimentally in Baghdad, Iraq. Three staggered metal foam fin configurations attached to the backside of the PV panel were studied. The measured parameters were front and back surfaces temperature, open voltage and current circuits, maximum power, and PV efficiency. It was noted that the maximum electrical efficiency enhancement was 4.7% for staggered metal foam fins (case III) than the reference PV panel. The operating temperature of the cell was increased when the value of solar intensity was high. Thereby, the electrical efficiency was decreased. هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على علاقة فاعلية الذات والفرع الأكاديمي بدافع الإنجاز الدراسي لدى طالبات كلية عجلون الجامعية. تكونت عينة الدراسة من (200) طالبة ممن درسن في أحد الفرعين العلمي أو الأدبي اختيرت بالطريقة الطبقية العشوائية، وشكلت ما نسبته 10% من مجتمع الدراسة.

ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم تطبيق مقياس فاعلية الذات على عينة الدراسة، كما تم تطبيق مقياس دافع الإنجاز الدراسي على العينة نفسها

Presupposition is the background belief that is known by both the speaker and the addressee, it is tied to particular words and aspects of the surface structure that act as linguistic triggers. The present study aims at investigating whether Iraqi fourth -year university students are able to recognize the English presuppositions through the meaning of these linguistic triggers .To fulfil the basic requirements of the study, the researcher has conducted a test . The results of the study have validated the hypothesis of the work and it is found that the linguistic triggers are important tools in recognizing presuppositions.
