Mauddud Formation (Albian stage-the Early Cretaceous) is an important oil reservoir in Ratawi field of southern Iraq. Four wells, R T-2, R T-3, R T-6, and R T-7, located 70 km northwest of Basra, were selected to study microfacies properties and petrophysical associations with the probability of oil production. Seventy-seven core samples are collected, and thin sections for petrographic analysis. The self-potential, Gamma-ray, resistivity, and porosity logs are used to determine the top and bottom of the Mauddud Formation. In this research; used the sixth thermal spectral band (Thermal Band) for study the water cover in the Al-Razzaza Lake located within the province of Karbala. We intended to study the cover a case of the study area, used satellite images showing the status of region during the period from 1990 to 2001 and 2007. From this study we conclude that cover the water of the study area change in sequence case to decrease during these years.

This research deals with one scene from the movie Romeo and Juliet, which is the balcony scene, due to the importance of this scene in the formation of the construction of the subsequent events of the movie.

The first chapter contained the methodological framework of the research, where the research problem was identified in how Zeffirelli dealt with the balcony scene in the play Romeo and Juliet and enriched it in the cinematic language with a comparison with the original text of the scene.
