Background: Removal of bacteria from the pulp system by instrumentation of an infected root canal, will be significantly reduced the number of bacteria, but it is well documented that instrumentation alone can-not clean and kill all bacteria found on the root canal walls. Antibacterial irrigants are needed to kill the remaining microorganisms. The aims of this study was to assess antibacterial effect of titanium tetrafluoride (TiF4) solution and brewing green tea against root canal bacteria and to compare with sodium hypochlorite and normal saline through microbiological and molecular studies. Materials and methods: Microbiological study was carried out to determine the concentration of titanium tetrafluoride and brewing green tea at which they exert antibacterial effect against ten swabs that had been taken from necrotic root canals that were incubated aerobically and anaerobically by paper disk diffusion test, whilemolecular study carried out among Forty children in which the antibacterial effect of titanium tetrafluoride and brewing green tea compared with sodium hypochlorite and normal saline were assessed by real time polymerase chain reaction using SYBR Green. Results: The microbiological study results showed that TiF4 achieved maximum antibacterial effect at concentration 5% against aerobic and anaerobic bacteria while green tea exhibited antibacterial effect when brewed for 20 minutes at concentration 100mg/1ml against staphylococcus aureus, but not active against other microorganisms like Escherichia coli and streptococcus. While results of molecular study illustrated that sodium hypochlorite remained the most effective endodontic irrigant solutions followed by titanium tetrafluoride then green tea while normal saline showed no antibacterial effect. Statistically titanium tetrafluoride, green tea and sodium hypochlorite have significant differences compared to normal saline. Conclusions: This study revealed that, titanium tetra fluoride and brewing green tea can be used as antibacterial irrigant solutions for root canal treatment in children.
Ficus (FIC) leaf extract used as corrosion inhibitor for carbon steel alloy (C.S) in two corrosive environments (saline and acidic) with four concentrations (1, 2, 3 and 4 ppm) at varied temperature range between (298-328 K) using electrochemical polarization measurements. The importance of this work focused on the use the green chemistry that is far from the chemical materials effect. The results of polarization presented the FIC inhibitor consider a mixed type (anodic and cathodic) inhibitor. Tafel curve used to evaluate the corrosion inhibition activity. In a saline medium, the best inhibitor efficiency reaches to (87%) in 2 ppm and IE% reach to (99%) for HCl medium inhibited by 1ppm. Langmuir isotherm obeys the study by thermodynamic pa

It also features prominently in Islamic hygienical jurisprudence. Materials and methods: Twenty maxillary first premolars were treated with the selected solutions which included siwak water extract (5%, 10%) and sodium fluoride 0.05% for 2minutes once daily for 20 days interval, deionized water was used as control negative. Then the concentration of the dissolved calcium ion in the etching solution of 2N HCL was measured. Results: The least amount of the dissolved calcium ion was registere

Materials and Methods: Forty rats of both sexes (weighing ٢٠٠-٢٥٠g) with various concentrations {٠.٦٢٥%, ١.٢٥% and ٢.٥% of aqueous green tea extract (AGTE)} as their main source of drinking fluid ٧ days before and ٥ days after administration of methotrexate (MTX). The parameters of oxidative stress, malondialdehyde (MDA) and reduced glutathione (GSH) were daily measured in kidney homogenate in addition to histopathological examinations after killing. Results: Analysis of data revealed significant amelioration of oxidative stress in groups of animals treated with different concentrations of AG

Therefore, the process of manufacturing could be optimized with less cost. Recently, wireless technology and internet of things (IOT) applied on intelligent machine has witnessed a significant advance with augmented virtuality, the analysis and the process certainly would contribute to enhance the intelligence of that machine. This paper presents a group of the wireless sensors and 3D animation technologies for data monitoring and analyzing. The distillation process takes the role of withdrawing the intermediate product (sodium monoethyladipate SMA) which otherwise converts to the final product of low purity. The effect of three parameters were studied through a design of experiments applying 23 factorial design. These parameters were : the mole ratio of DA to NaOH solution (0.1 and 1) , NaOH solution concentration (3 N and 8 N) , and batch time (1.5 hr. and 3.5 hr.) . The conversion of DA to sodium monoethyladipate(SMA)(intermediate product) was the effect of these pa

The results showed that Camellia sinensis green tea extracts played a vital role by significantly boosting all the examined characteristics compared with the control treatment. The aqueous extract of Green tea at concentrations of 10 and 20 ppm gave the best performance in increasing germination rates, germination speed, plant promoter indicator, and seedling strength compared with the control trea
