Background: The study was designed to evaluate the effect of local application of exogenous VEGF/collagen I separately and as a combination in socket healing. Sixty male Albino Wistar rats were subjected for a surgical tooth extraction of upper 1st molar of both sides (right side was considered as experimental site, while left be the control one, treated with 1µL of normal saline). The rats were scarified at 3, 7, 14, 28 days post extraction. Socket healing was histologically examined with immunohistochemistochemical localization of ALP&FGF2. Materials and Method: Sixty male Albino Wistar rats were subjected for a surgical tooth extraction of upper 1stmolar of both sides (right side was considered as experimental site, while left be the control one). The animals were divided into following groups according to the applicable of biomaterials. A. Control group the tooth socket treated with 1μL of normal saline B. Experimental group includes • Group I contains (20) rats, the tooth socket treated with 1μL of VEGF • Group II contains (20) rats the tooth socket treated with 1μL of collagen type I • Group III contains (20) rats, the tooth socket treated with 1μL of a combination of VEGF and collagen I. Results: At 28 days all groups show re-epithelization but in different thickness, and with newly bone apposition and with different maturity. For positive cells expressed ALP, VEGF group records a high mean values at 3, 14, 28 days periods and with high differences in comparison to other groups while control group reports a high mean value at 7 days . For positive cells expressed FGF2. Control group illustrates a high record for the mean of positive cells expressed FGF2 at 3,7days periods and with high differences in comparison to other groups, while combination group reports a high mean value at 14 days . Conclusion: Results, high lighted on the effect of local application of VEGF in extracted tooth socket that facilitate epithelization, while combination of (collagen and VEGF) shows a high mineralization zone.
Liquisolid compact is the most promising technique for increasing dissolution rate and bioavailability of poorly soluble drugs.Clopidogrel bisulfate is an oral antiplatelets used for treatment and prophylaxis of cardiovacular and peripheral vascular diseases related to platelets aggreagation.Clopidogrel has low solubility at high pH media of intestine and low bioavailability of a bout 50% after oral doses. The purpose of this work was to enhance dissolution pattern of clopidogrel through its formulation into liquisolid tablets.A mathematical model was used to calculate the optimum quantities of tween 80 , carrier (Avicel PH 102) and coating material (Aerosil 200) needed to prepare acceptably flowing and compactible powder mixtures. The liq

In this study, CLO was formulated as vaginal mucoadhesive hydrogel, using different types of mucoadhesive polymers to ensure prolonged contact between active ingredient and vaginal mucosa.
Physicochemical properties of the prepared formulas were evaluated as a visual inspection, pH, swelling index, spreadability, and mucoadhesive characteristics, in addition to an in-vitro drug release. The influence of type and concentration of polymers as CMC-Na (1.5, 2.5, and 3.5%w/w), carbopol 940( 0.25, 0.5, and 1 %w/w) and poloxamer 407 (15, 25, 30%w/w) on CLO release from the prepared gels were also invest

The objective of this in vitro study was to evaluate the effect of two gingival finishing lines (90°shoulder and deep chamfer) on the fracture resistance of full contour CAD/CAM and heat press all-ceramic crowns. Materials and Methods: Thirty two maxillary first premolars were prepared to receive full contour CAD/CAM (zolid) and heat press (Cergo Kiss) ceramic crowns using a special paralleling device (Parallel-A-Prep). The teeth were divided into four groups according to the type of finishing line prepared. Each crown was cemented to its corresponding tooth using self-etch, self-adhesive dual cure resin ceme

Methodology: Descriptive study carried out during the period from January to April 2015 on purposive sample of 100 parents with their children with diabetes mellitus who attending diabetes and endocrine treatment center. An evaluation tool is constructed by the researcher based on previous literature regarding
Objective: Studying the opinions of referees on the use of VAR technology in Iraqi stadiums, and the extent of its impact on their decisions during matches, in addition to identifying their level of psychological hesitation.Research methodology: The descriptive approach was adopted in two ways survey and correlation. The research community was represented by the referees of the Iraqi Professional Football League, numbering (80) referees. The researcher chose all referees as a sample, as the sample amounted to (80) referees, i.e. a percentage of (100%) of the community. After that, the researcher divided the selected sample into a survey consisting of (10) players. To build the (VAR) questionnaire and find the scientific foundations

In this work, a test room was built in Baghdad city, with (2*1.5*1.5) m3 in dimensions, while the solar chimneys (SC) were designed with aspect ratio (ar) bigger than 12. Test room was supplied by many solar collectors; vertical single side of air pass with ar equals 25, and tilted 45o double side of air passes with ar equals 50 for each pass, both collectors consist of flat thermal energy storage box collector (TESB) that covered by transparent clear acrylic sheet, third type of collector is array of evacuated tubular collectors with thermosyphon in 45o instelled in the bottom of TESB of vertical SC. Materials and Methods: Ninety maxillary halves simulated fixed orthodontic appliances that were immersed in artificial saliva of different pH values (6.75, 5 and 3.5) during 28 day period. Three types of archwires were used: stainless steel, nickel titanium and thermal activated nickel titanium. The quantity of nickel and chromium ions was determined with the use of atomic force spectrophotometer while iron ions by spectrophotometer. Each orthodontic set was weighted two times, before the ligation and immersion in the artificial saliva and after 28 days at the end of
