Cavity preparation model in rat maxillary first molars: A pilot study
...Show More Authors

Objective: To conduct a standardized method for cavity preparation on the palatal surface of rat maxillary molars and to introduce a standardized method for tooth correct alignment within the specimen during the wax embedding procedure to better detect cavity position within the examined slides. Materials and methods: Six male Wistar rats, aged 4-6 weeks, were used. The maxillary molars of three animals were sectioned in the frontal plane to identify the thickness of hard tissue on the palatal surface of the first molar which was (250-300µm). The end-cutting bur (with a cutting head diameter of 0.2mm) was suitable for preparing a dentinal cavity (70-80µm) depth. Cavity preparation was then performed using the same bur on the tooth surface in the other three animals. Rats are then euthanized before dissecting, fixing, and demineralizing the teeth. For better alignment of teeth samples during the waxing procedure, K-file endodontic instrument size #8 was dipped in Indian ink. The file tip was inserted on the jaw bone at the buccal side of the tooth in a region opposed to the prepared cavity on the palatal side. Moreover, a small Dycal applicator instrument was used to mark the jaw bone on the mesial side of teeth samples as an orientation for the cutting surface. Results: Well-defined sections were obtained with a clear cavity extension within dentin and without any signs of pulp exposure in all samples. Conclusion: This pilot was conducted to perform an easy procedure for cavity preparation in rat molar teeth to obtain a clear histopathological section.

SIMULATION MODEL FOR THE ASSESSMENT OF DIRECT AND INDIRECT GEOREFERENCING TECHNIQUES IN ANALYTICAL PHOTOGRAMMETRY
...Show More Authors

This paper compares between the direct and indirect georeferencing techniques in Photogrammetry bases on a simulation model. A flight plan is designed which consists of three strips with nine overlapped images for each strip by a (Canon 500D) digital camera with a resolution of 15 Mega Pixels.

The triangulation computations are carried out by using (ERDAS LPS) software, and the direct measurements are taken directly on the simulated model to substitute using GPS/INS in real case. Two computational tests have been implemented to evaluate the positional accuracy for the whole model and the Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) relating to (30) check points show that th

Effect of the Fear Factor and Prey Refuge in an Asymmetric Predator–Prey Model
...Show More Authors

This study investigates the influence of fear, refuge, and migration in a predator–prey model, where the interactions between the species follow an asymmetric function response. In contrast to some other findings, we propose that prey develop an anti-predator response in response to a concentration of predators, which in turn increases the fear factor of the predators. The conditions under which all ecologically meaningful equilibrium points exist are discussed in detail. The local and global dynamics of the model are determined at all equilibrium points. The model admits several interesting results by changing the rate of fear of predators and predator aggregate sensitivity. Numerical simulations have been performed to verify our theoret

Minimal wave speed and traveling wave in nonlocal dispersion SIS epidemic model with delay
...Show More Authors

This study examines traveling wave solutions of the SIS epidemic model with nonlocal dispersion and delay. The research shows that a key factor in determining whether traveling waves exist is the basic reproduction number R0. In particular, the system permits nontrivial traveling wave solutions for σ≥σ∗ for R0>1, whereas there are no such solutions for σ<σ∗. This is because there is a minimal wave speed σ∗>0. On the other hand, there are no traveling wave solutions when R0≤1. In conclusion, we provide several numerical simulations that illustrate the existence of TWS.

Investigating of Charge Transfer in Cu/F8 Using Donor-Acceptor Model due Quantum Transition
...Show More Authors

in this paper, we study and investigate a simple donor-acceptor model for charge transfer formation using a quantum transition theory. The transfer parameters which enhanced the charge transfer and the rate of the charge transfer have been calculated. Then, we study the net charge transfer through interface of Cu/F8 contact devices and evaluate all transfer coefficients. The charge transfer rate of transfer processes is found to be dominated in the low orientation free energy and increased a little in decreased potential at interface comparison to the high potential at interface. The increased transition energy results in increasing the orientation of Cu to F8. The transfer in the system was more active when the system has large driving for

New Versions of Liu-type Estimator in Weighted and non-weighted Mixed Regression Model
...Show More Authors

This paper considers and proposes new estimators that depend on the sample and on prior information in the case that they either are equally or are not equally important in the model. The prior information is described as linear stochastic restrictions. We study the properties and the performances of these estimators compared to other common estimators using the mean squared error as a criterion for the goodness of fit. A numerical example and a simulation study are proposed to explain the performance of the estimators.

The Separatist Movements in The North West of The Mediterranean Basque Region as Model

The European continent suffers from the presence of some separatist tendencies, as it becomes clear the impact of racial and ethnic variables driving towards the crystallization of separatist conflicts that led to the success of some of them in the establishment of sovereign states, while the other failed to achieve this, the research focused on the importance of matching geographical, cultural and political criteria In the success of separatist trends, he also focused on the role of the policies imposed by the mother state in curbing or exacerbating the separatist trend through the level of justice in the distribution of wealth between the regions, and what are the rights and duties of those oppressed and abused minorities, so the r

Foreign Propaganda in the Electronic Press about the Syrian Crisis A Comparative Study of the Sites of Russia Today and Alhurra - A research drawn from a Master Degree thesis
...Show More Authors

The research problem lies in the ambiguity of the usage of propaganda contents by two main media outlets (the Russian RT and American Alhurra) in their news coverage of the Syrian crisis through their websites and the methods used by them to convince users taking into account the mutual propaganda conflict between the United States and Russia in the war against Syria. The objectives of the research can be represented by the following: investigating the contents of American and Russian electronic propaganda towards Syrian crisis.
• Identifying the contents that received most of the coverage in the Syrian crisis by the two news outlets.
• Identifying the terms and phrases that have been most used by the websites of RT and Alhurr
