This paper demonstrates an experimental and numerical study on the behavior of reinforced concrete (RC) columns with longitudinal steel embedded tubes positioned at the center of the column cross-section. A total of 12 pin-ended square sectional columns of 150 × 150 mm having a total height of 1400 mm were investigated. The corrosion behavior of carbon steel at different Temperatures and in water containing different sodium chloride
concentrations under 3 bar pressure has been investigated using weight loss method . The carbon steel specimens were
immersed in water containing (100,400,700,1000PPM) of NaCl solution and under temperature was increased from
(90-120ºC) under pressures of 3 bar. The results of this investigation indicated that corrosion rate increased with NaCl

Background: Pain, swelling and trismus are the main minor complications encountered after surgical extraction of impacted third molars, minimizing these postoperative complications is the center of many studies, one proposed method is the prophylactic administration of corticosteroids, the aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of prophylactic Dexamethasone administration on facial swelling and trismus after surgical extraction of impacted third molars. Materials and methods: 20 patients were included in this study, they were randomly divided into 2 groups of 10 patients each; a study group in which patients were given 8 mg. Dexamethasone 1 hour before surgical extraction of impacted third molar and 4 mg. 6 hours postoperatively, and a
