Effect of Optiglaze Coating on the Staphylococcus aurous and Porosity of Heat Cured Acrylic Material
...Show More Authors

Background: Polishing technique for acrylic resin material have great effect on properties of acrylic material and bacterial colonization such as staphylococcus aurous, which are responsible for many acrylic prosthetic infections such as the commonly ocular infections. Ineffective polishing technique could affect roughness and subsequently porosity of acrylic materials. So, a new effective method for polishing acrylic was used depending on the use of optiglaze coating material. So, this study aimed to evaluate the effect of optiglaze polishing on porosity of acrylic resin material and staphylococcus aurous activity in comparison to conventional polishing technique.

Materials and methods: Specimen(n=120) were prepared :20 specimens constructed as circle shaped diameter 30mm with 1 mm thickness for porosity  test (10 control polishing by conventional technique and 10 polishing by optiglaze technique). Other 82 specimens were prepared as circle specimen (6mm diameter and 1mm thickness) for sensitivity and adherences test ( each test have 20 specimens10 control and 10 optiglaze) and 42 specimens for viability test for three dilution,21 specimens for control and 21 for optiglaze (7 specimens for each dilution). Porosity were tested by light microscopic while agar well technique, adherence test and viability count test were tested for antibacterial activity of optiglaze against staphylococcus aurous.

Result: The high mean value for porosity test was recorded by control while low mean value was recorded by optiglaze group with significant differences between them. Sensitivity and adherence test high mean value recorded by optiglaze with highly significant differences in comparison to control. Viability count test all dilution 10-7 ,10-6, 10-5 showed highly significant reduction in viability count of staphylococcus aurous by optiglaze group in comparison to control. Conclusion Polishing technique by Optiglaze significantly decrease porosity of acrylic resin and this method inhibited growth of staphylococcus aurous, and decrease its viable count (have antibacterial effect) but had less effect in adherence of this bacterial in comparison to control.

Effectiveness of Typographical Elements in Attracting the Recipient
...Show More Authors

The typographical elements work significantly in engaging a recipient and attracting his attention to the idea and content of the printed work with all its types and goals for which<br /> it is designed. This is because of the fact that the typographical elements have tremendous expression capabilities that reflect the content of the artistic work in a simple way without any complexities. These elements have a special effect in achieving a clear, readable design, besides their effective contribution to the reception and understanding of the designs by the recipient. Accordingly, the designs of the electronic advertisement poster with their promoting goals of its products are considered among the graphic achieveme

THE USE OF AMBIGUOUS IRONY IN ANDALUSIAN POETRY
...Show More Authors

Among the findings of the research are:
1. This type of ambiguity is old in use and was adopted by the Arab poets as a
reaction against hyperbole and as a tendency towards compression of expression that
results in an. amusing suspension through the use of irony. The Andalusian poets
tended to employ this form because it involves interaction and interrogation,
2. Furthermore, it indicates the poet’s insight, talent and skill and it is, therefore,
regarded as a form. Of verse discourse that appeals to the reader, in contrast to
hyperbole.
3. Its presence in Andalusian poetry is evident n eulogy and descriptive poetry and it
held a place of prominence as a poetic form in achieving these purposes.

Characteristics of linguistic discourse in The Holy Quran

It is no secret to anyone that the Koran is a speech to people, and how it is not a speech to humans is a home to them and suitable for their understandings, and the people of rhetoric mean great care has never been before in the division of the Koranic discourse, followed by linguists and science of the Koran. After reading the letter, I followed it in the Holy Quran, taking advantage of what was written by former writers in language and interpretation. Thanks to God, I have done what I wanted. Perhaps one of the most important reasons that led me to write my research and optional for this topic; is related to the Koran. So I started to develop the research plan, and divided it as I saw it, I started to pave the way, and then divided it

The Iraqi Journalistic Treatment of COVID-19 pandemic
...Show More Authors

This research aims to investigate the approaches adopted by Iraqi newspapers in addressing the COVID-19 pandemic crisis. Employing a descriptive methodology and survey technique, the study conducts content analysis on articles published in three prominent newspapers: Al-Sabah, Al-Mada, and Tareeq Al-Shaab. A multi-stage sampling method was employed, encompassing 260 issues of the aforementioned newspapers. Data collection involved the use of a content analysis questionnaire, with the "How it was said?" method utilized to determine analysis categories.
The results showed that Al-Sabah newspaper adopted a positive approach in addressing COVID-19-related topics, while Al-Mada newspaper remained neutral, and Tare

Visual stimulus in the design of interior spaces

The visual stimulus is the effective force in visual attraction that achieves visual and perceptual co-optation and is important in wooing the recipient, and many procedural processes in the design are interpreted on it as the visual stimulus achieves visual comfort and a sense of pleasure and gives (place) the interior space a transformation in its plastic structure as well as arousing attention through The kinetic rhythm and the formal diversity, which increases the possibility of breaking the routine and traditional constraints of design patterns through the coating and encapsulation of the vertical and horizontal levels . Thus, the research problem was launched based on the following question: What are the stimuli of the visual stimu

The design processes in general and the design system in particular need to be studied and knowledge. Based on this vision, we find the need for constant research on the design processes, and the subject of the techniques of the designs of the covers of children magazines did not have the view of the researchers to make them the subject of study, For the subject of this research, the problem of research is determined according to the following question:

- What are the methods used in designing children magazine covers in Iraq?

Through this research we seek to find solutions to this question as well as it will serve the cognitive side of a modern study and development of a broader understanding of the subject. Through four
