The present study was undertaken to determine and compare the antibacterial and biochemical characteristics of honey samples from Kurdistan region in Iraq and Arabian Gulf region. Sixteen honey samples of mixed floral origins from both regions were analysed and compared. Antibacterial activity of the honey samples was investigated against five clinical pathogenic bacteria: Acinetobacter baumannii, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Salmonella typhi and Staphylococcus aureus by agar dilution method. Both sample sets showed differential biochemical characteristics and potential functional properties such as antioxidant and antimicrobial properties. The nonlinear refractive (NLR) index and third order susceptibility (X3) of carbon quantum dots (CQDs) have been studied using two laser wavelengths (473 and 532 nm). The z-scan technique was used to examine the nonlinearity. Results showed that all concentrations have negative NLR indices in the order of 10−10 cm2/W at two laser wavelengths. Moreover, the nonlinearity of CQDs was improved by increasing the concentration of CQDs. The highest value of third order susceptibility was found to be 3.32*10−8 (esu) for CQDs with a concentration of 70 mA at 473 nm wavelength.

Four mushrooms were used in the present study, Agaricus bisporus (B62) strain (Lelion, Varrains , France) , Pleurotus ostreatus (Blue grey-BG) and P. ostreatus (White oyster-WH) from Mushroom Box Company, United Kingdom, while P. ostreatus (P2) was the local fungus isolated and identified in this study. This research includes new series of polymers were synthesized starting from polymerization of poly maleic anhydride (3), which were mono esterfication with absolute methanol to give polymer (4 ), then the acid side chlorination with thionyl chloride to give polymer (5) , which was subjected to esterfication with two different protected sugar moiety (1 and 2 ) to afford modified polymers (6 and 7). Furthermore the hydrazide polymers ( 8 and 9) were prepared through addition of hydrazine hydrate to polymers ( 6 and 7 ), which upon condensation with different free mono saccharides to give the target polymers( 10-13) respectively. Purpose: The diagnosis and determine the level of balance between the time available for life and work with the doctors in the hospitals of t the six hospitals in the City of Medicine.

Design / methodology / Approach: It has been relying on ready-scale, to make sure the diagnosis and determine the level of balance between the time available for life and work, where they were distributed on Form 42 doctors in the six hospitals in the City of Medicine, were analyzed by software (Nvivo and SPSS v.22).
