Background: This in vitro study was carried out to investigate the effect of post space regions (coronal, middle and apical), the effect of post types ( Manually Milled Zirconia post, Prefabricated Fiber post, prefabricated Zirconia post) and the type of cement used (GIC, self-adhesive resin cement) on the bond strength between the posts and root dentin by using push-out test. Material and methods: Forty eight mandibular premolars extracted for orthodontic reasons (single rooted) were instrumented with ProTaper system (hand use) and obturated with gutta percha for ProTaper using AH26® root canal sealer following the manufacturer instructions. After 24 hours, post space was prepared using Zirix and Glassix drills no.3 creating 8 mm depth post space. The prepared samples were randomly divided into three main groups (16 samples each) according to the type of post used (Group A. Manually Milled Zirconia post, Group B. Prefabricated Fiber post and Group C. Prefabricated Zirconia post) .each group was subdivided into two subgroups (each subgroup contains 8 samples) according to the type of cement used (subgroup A1.Manually Milled Zirconia post cemented with GIC, subgroup A2.Manually Milled Zirconia post cemented with Speed cem),( subgroup B1.Prefabricated Fiber post cemented with GIC, Group B2. Prefabricated Fiber post cemented with Speed cem) and (subgroup C1.Prefabricated Zirconia post cemented with GIC, subgroup C2. Prefabricated Zirconia post cemented with Speed cem), after cementation and incubation for 24hrs, at 37°c and 100% humidity. Each root was sectioned horizontally into 3 slices (2 mm in thickness) representing the coronal, middle and apical regions of the post space. Push out bond strength test was performed and measured using a universal testing machine (Tinius-Olsen) at across head speed of 0.5 mm/min. Results: The results showed that regarding the root region, the bond strength values increased significantly from apical to coronal region for all types of posts in both tested cements. For the effect of post type, the manually Milled Zirconia post cemented with the self-cured resin cement (Speed cem) showed higher bond strength values. For type of cement, the self-adhesive resin cement (Speed cem) showed higher bond strength values. Conclusions: the retention of post restoration was affected by root region, type of post and type of cement used.
Find out the leadership ability among female university students.
The researcher made aquestionnaire consisting ofone open question for (50) female students of education college for women\ Baghdad university to mention main leadership abilities with leader student.
To achieve the aims of this study, the researcher made the following steps: 1- Collection and finalization the items of the scale Through literature review and previous studies and aquestionnaire consisting where (3) items have been extracted to make this questionnaire. 2- The test has been submitted to proffesionals of psychology to judge the valiidety of items of the scale where their opinion was they are good at (100%).The scale has been applied on statistical analysi
The aims of this research are : 1. To measure mental health among disabled in Baghdad. 2. To identify the statistical differences in mental health among disabled in Baghdad according to gender. 3. To identify the statistical differences in mental health among disabled in Baghdad according to age. The scale of mental health (Aljbori&abdulhussin,2015) was adopted by the researcher, A purposely sample were selected of (60) disabled at Iraqi Alliance of Disabilitiv (IAD) in academic year 2015 to 2016. Where data have analyzed by SPSS. The results found. 1. The disabled characterized with good level of mental heath. 2. There was no significant differences between ganders 3. There are no significant differences between age. Results and rec

They are Arabic , Hebrew, Syriac and Akkadian languages . We have divided the research into a number of pivots beginning with an entrance about the letter (Taa) in Semitic languages and the symbols which are used by these languages referring to . Then we have studied (Taa) from sonic side with letters phenomenon (b, g, k, p, t) the six in both Hebrew and Syriac languages . The letter (Taa) is formed one of them and the sonic change that is happening in articulation (Taa) according to sonic rules related to these letters in case of emphasis or in case of neglected (not emphasis). Then we have studied the pro

Methodology: The sample of the study consist of 100 patients who were divided into two groups according to
the type of diabetes mellitus; type 1 (Insulin-dependent diabetic mellitus), and type n (Non-Insulin dependent
diabetes mellitus). Each group consists of 50 patient selected randomly at each visit to Al-Waffa center in Mosul
city during the period from (1-12-2005) to (1-2-2006).
The steps of the study include recording the different barriers for diabetic patients. The questionnaire
was used and special list was utilized for such purpose.
Results: The results shows that there were some barriers most common such as both
The study aims to measure life management (in its various approaches) among university academics and to identify the differences among life management strategies (in its various approaches) in regard of gender (male, female), field of education (scientific, humanitarian) and title (assistant lecturer, lecturer, assistant professor, and professor). The study sample consisted of (246) male and female academics from four colleges (Arts, Science, Science education, and Humanitarian Science Education). To achieve the goals of the study, the researchers used the Freund & Baltes (2002) life-management strategies scale after translating it and determining its parameters of reliability and validity. The statistical analysis of the

Hygienic engineering has dedicated a lot of time and energy to studying water filtration because of how important it is to human health. Thorough familiarity with the filtration process is essential for the design engineer to keep up with and profit from advances in filtering technology and equipment as the properties of raw water continue to change. Because it removes sediment, chemicals, odors, and microbes, filtration is an integral part of the water purification process. The most popular technique for treating surface water for municipal water supply is considered fast sand filtration, which can be achieved using either gravity or pressure sand filters. Predicting the performance of units in water treatment plants is a basic pri

Show More In this paper the research represents an attempt of expansion in using the parametric and non-parametric estimators to estimate the median effective dose ( ED50 ) in the quintal bioassay and comparing between these methods . We have Chosen three estimators for Comparison. The first estimator is
( Spearman-Karber ) and the second estimator is ( Moving Average ) and The Third estimator is ( Extreme Effective Dose ) . We used a minimize Chi-square as a parametric method. We made a Comparison for these estimators by calculating the mean square error of (ED50) for each one of them and comparing it with the optimal the mean square
Canonical correlation analysis is one of the common methods for analyzing data and know the relationship between two sets of variables under study, as it depends on the process of analyzing the variance matrix or the correlation matrix. Researchers resort to the use of many methods to estimate canonical correlation (CC); some are biased for outliers, and others are resistant to those values; in addition, there are standards that check the efficiency of estimation methods.
In our research, we dealt with robust estimation methods that depend on the correlation matrix in the analysis process to obtain a robust canonical correlation coefficient, which is the method of Biwe

The aim of this paper is to present our experience of using mini-sternotomy to harvest the left internal mammary artery (LIMA) for off-pump revascularization of the left anterior descending artery (LAD)
Methodology Over a 2-year period (October 2012-October 2014), 100 patients underwent coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) via conventional median sternotomy (CMS) (n=80) and mini-sternotomy (MS) (n=20). The
