The aim of this research was to indicate the opinion of the Iraqi consumer about the quality and safety of local food products, the questionnaire was included 19 questions for product quality, price, distribution and promotion as a tool to survey the opinions of 128 consumers in Baghdad, the data was analyzed by using percentage, weighted mean, and weight percent, the results obtained showed that the Iraqi consumer prefer local food products for their high quality and appropriate price, however they need attention to packaging, promotion and distribution.

In this study, concentrations of Radon were measured for fifty two samples of Fly Ash taken from five thermal power plants in the middle and south of Iraq [Al-Rashed, Al-Dura, Al-Musaeb, Al-Naserya, Al-Basrah (AlHaretha)].
The radon concentrations in samples measured by registrat alpha-emitting radon (222Rn) by using (CR-39) track detector, The concentrations values were calculated by a comparison with standard samples The results shows that the radon concentrations is between (91.931-30.645 Bq/m3)

   This study was carried out to study the tolerance degree of wheat Triticum aestivum L. C. V. In the present work, asphaltenes and resins separated from emulsion samples collected from two Iraqi oil wells, Nafut Kana (Nk) and Basrah were used to study the emulsion stability. The effect of oil resins to asphaltene (R/A) ratio, pH of the aqueous phase, addition of paraffinic solvent (n-heptane), aromatic solvent (toluene), and blend of both (heptol) in various proportions on the stability of emulsions had been investigated. The conditions of experiments were specified as an agitation speed of 1000 rpm for 30 minutes, heating at 50 °C, and water content of 30%.  The results showed that as the R/A ratio increases, the emulsion will be unstable and the amount of water separated from emulsion increases.
