Background: Wound healing is a complex dynamical interaction between various cell types, the extracellular matrix, cytokines, and growth factors. osteoponetin is a substance that acts as an anti-inflammatory. Aims of study: The study was designed to identify the role of local exogenous applications of osteopontin on wound healing (in cheek skin). Materials and methods: Thirty adult male albino rats weighting an average of (250-300gm) used in this study, incisional wounds were made in the skin of the cheek of rat and they were divided into the following groups: A-Control group: 15 rats treated with 1µ l of normal saline B-Experimental groups: 15 rats treated with topical application of 1µl osteopontin. The scarification of animals were done for the healing intervals (1, 5 and 10 days) Histological analysis and assessment of number of inflammatory cell, Thickness and contraction of incision were performed for both experimental and control groups for all healing periods. Results: Histological analysis revealed that osteopontin accelerate wound healing of cheek skin and there was highly significant difference among studied groups in periods 1,5,10 days. Regarding mean values of epithelial thickness, inflammatory cell count and contraction of wound area have reported a highest value different in 1, 5 and 10 days durations. Conclusion: It can be concluded that application of osteopontin shown efficacy in the healing of skin wounds induced in rats.
Sesame crop, one of the very important oily, industrial, and summer crops that is economically important, has been investigated. The plantation and production of this crop has been studied in Al-Qadisiyah governorate during 2003-218. This is because this governorate is well-known by sesame plantation. Such a study helps to know the geographical distribution of sesame agricultural season in 2017-2018, and explore the most important natural factors that affect its plantation. Different research approaches have been adopted based on that facts that need to be met. A field study approach has been used in studying sesame crop descriptively and conceptually, shedding light on its nutritional and economic importance. Moreover, a descriptive com

Riva Star (SDF) treatment alone will stop cavities but will not reverse the cavitation. The Silver Modified Atraumatic Procedure, often known as Smart, is the optimum technique for regaining the tooth's structure and function. Glass ionomer was introduced in (1972) as a new material that has become one of the most widely used materials in restorative dentistry. By releasing fluoride ions, this material has a therapeutic impact on the surrounding tooth structure. The sample of research consisted of 59 students in one intermediate school in Baghdad/Iraq, split into two groups; experimental and control. The scientific material of the study is related to Chapters II and III of the Science Book for the second Intermediate School for the Year (2019-2020). The scientific test is composed of 25 test items whilst the second instrument for research related to systematic thinking test consisted of 12 items. The results of the research showed that the use of Fryer's chemistry-teaching strategy has increased achieve

There are limited researches available, and even fewer have been done experimentally to understand how to ring footings behave; almost all the previous works only concern the behavior of ring footing under vertical loads, Moreover, relatively few studies have examined the impact of eccentric load and inclined load on such footing. In this study, a series of tests, including dry and wet tests, were carried out using a steel container (600×600×600) mm, metal ring footing (100 mm outer diameter and 40 mm inner diameter) was placed in the m

It is concluded that the process of micellization is spontaneous and endothermic because of the observed free energy of micellization (ΔGom) , enthalpy change of micellization (ΔHom), and entropy change of micellization (ΔSom) for the system was also studied. The properties of the non-ionic surfactants were studied, both in absence and presence of
