Background: This study designed to shade light on the important role of CBCT in accurate localization of the impacted maxillary canines. Materials and method: Fifty two unilateral and bilateral impacted maxillary canines from 30 patients (24 females and 6 males) were evaluated by a volumetric 3D images obtained from cone beam CT. All samples attended to the specialist health center of dentistry in Al-Sadder City referred to CBCT by oral surgeons or orthodontists to detect the exact position of impacted upper canine in cases when there was no bulging buccally or palatally which aids to detect the exact position. Results: Mesio-palatal angulations had the highest rate (63.5%) followed by mesio-labial (19.2%), vertical (labial) (9.6%), disto-palatal (5.8%) and disto-labial (1.9%). The relation between impacted canine and the adjacent teeth regarding to the attachment was significant only with lateral incisor. No cases of root resorption of the adjacent teeth were recorded. Bilateral impacted teeth were found in 22 patients which is highly significant (especially in females), while unilateral impaction was found only in 8 patients especially in females. Impacted canine was more prominent in female whether unilateral or bilateral. Conclusions: CBCT imaging of impacted canines can show the following: presence or absence of the canine, angulations of the long axis of the tooth, relative labial and palatal positions and proximity to adjacent teeth. In short, CBCT imaging is clearly advantageous in imaging and management of impacted canines.
The aim of the current research is to analyze the content of the two science books (chemistry units) for the two grades ( first and second intermediate ) according to environmental ethics, as the research community and its sample of the two science books (chemistry units) for the two grades ( first and second intermediate ), approved by the Iraqi Ministry of Education for the academic year ( 2021-2022 ), and the two researchers adopted the descriptive ( analytical ) approach, and the researchers built a standard for environmental ethics, and the validity of the tool was confirmed by presenting it to a group of experts, and then the researchers analyzed the two books in light of the standard prepared based on the implicit explicit idea, and

In order to clarify the news outlets tactics of reporting, the subjects and focus during the crisis related to the spread of the Covid-19 virus. The study sample was chosen in a deliberate manner to provide descriptive results. Three news sites were selected: two of the most followed, professional and famous international news sites: New York Times and the Guardian, and one Arab news site: Al-Arabiya channel.
A total of 18,085 tweets were analyzed for the three accounts during the period from (1/3/2020) to (8/4/2020). A content analysis form was used to analyze the content of the news coverage. The results indicate an increase in th

The testing program includes rotine characterization tests, chemical, and physical tests for samples of gypseous soil. Samples of disturbed and undisturbed soil was obtained of seven different locations of Salah-Aldeen province. The unified classification system was adopted of study region. Except sample 7, soil categorization (as poorly graded sand) was a good graded sand soil. Samples had non plasticity rate (NP). The results of laboratory tests (by using Arc-Map GIS program) were enhanced by spatial interpolation mapping utilizing Inverse Distance Weighted Scheme.
Understanding the effects of fear, quadratic fixed effort harvesting, and predator-dependent refuge are essential topics in ecology. Accordingly, a modified Leslie–Gower prey–predator model incorporating these biological factors is mathematically modeled using the Beddington–DeAngelis type of functional response to describe the predation processes. The model’s qualitative features are investigated, including local equilibria stability, permanence, and global stability. Bifurcation analysis is carried out on the temporal model to identify local bifurcations such as transcritical, saddle-node, and Hopf bifurcation. A comprehensive numerical inquiry is carried out using MATLAB to verify the obtained theoretical findings and und

It is referred to as changes and events that come from outside the economic system and extends to many economic variables. However, foreign direct investment may be severely affected due to the extreme sensitivity to changes and local and international developments. This type of trauma and its characteristics to help manage and cope with external shocks, and in order to avoid the standard problems experienced by some models of simple linear regression, multi-linear regression models were used with variables Scientific and other dummy variables .

Potentially limiting future market activity could be international risks and obstacles, which in turn could cause issues and crises (Shah & Jan, 2014; Bakhtiyarovich, 2020). The study concept was inspired by the recognition that there must be communication between the importance of the AFP analysis of the Iraqi securities market and the country’s financial and economic institutions. The sample of the study included ten Iraqi banks listed in the Iraq Stock Exchange (ISE) for the period 2010–2020. The three mathematical models included in the statistical analysis served as the basis for projectin

Show MoreAbstract: This study analyzes the depiction of environmental catastrophes and social response as humanity confronts consequences of human induced climate change climate change in Strieber’s The Day After Tomorrow (2004). It aims to examine ecological degradation, and human-nature relationships. To achieve the study's purpose, a qualitative methodology, specifically thematic analysis, has been employed to investigate the representation of climate change in The Day After Tomorrow by Whitley Strieber. The study examines themes and their interaction with the ecological dimensions of climate change using an ecocriticism theory by Garrard’s 2004, particularly the concept of apocalypse. It has been observed that Strieber’s The Day Aft

These relations will be embodied in their true form in the interactions between the different uses of the earth, and the change that will result from their regularity in the form of entities in independent groups, which may share with each other a component of it.
Therefore, the process of controlling the functional interactions between the uses of the urban land and the awareness of t
