Abstract

Electrical magnate  was designed and constructed,  the optimum Magnetic flux  and the effect of time on the physical properties of the alkaline (magnetic water) produced from the bottled drinking water [the total dissolved solids (TDS) or the electrical conductivity, and pH] were studied, to simulate ZamZam water in Mekka Saudi Arabia. Also, the efficiency of magnetic field from this designed electrical magnate in decreasing the TDS of sea water (of 1500 ppm NaCl Content), to convert it to water suitable for irrigation (TDS<1000 ppm) was investigated in this work.The results show that the magnetic flux from our designed electrical magnate in the range of (0.013- 0.08) Tesla and 30 minut

Three hundred and fifty five patients with hepatitis were investigated in this study all cases gave negative result with HBs Ag , IgM-anti HCV , IgM-anti HEV, IgM-anti HDV and anti-HIV tests . The frequency of IgM-anti HAV was 113 and the percentage was 32 % in all ages but when these patients divided into five groups dependent on ages. The highest percentage of IgM-anti HAV was (45%) in age <10 and the percentage declined with age increase till to 9% in age >41 year.

In this study the thermal conductivity of the epoxy composites were characterized as function of volume fraction, particle size of fillers and the time of immersion(30,60,90)days in water .Composites plates were prepared by incorporating (bi-directional) (0º-90º) glass fiber and silicon carbide (SiC) particles of (0.1,0.5,1)mm as particle size at (10%,20%,30%,40%) percent volume in epoxy matrix.
The composites shows slightly increase of the thermal conductivity with increasing volume fraction, particle size and increase with increasing the days of immersion in water. An experimental and theoretical study has been done to investigate the thermal performance of different types of air solar collectors, In this work air solar collector with a dimensions of (120 cm x90 cm x12 cm) , was tested under climate condition of  Baghdad city with a (43° tilt angel)  by using  the absorber plate (1.45 mm thickness, 115 cm height x 84 cm width), which was manufactured from iron painted with a black matt.

The experimental test deals with five types of absorber:-

 Conventional smooth flat plate absorber , Finned absorber , Corrugated absorber plate, Iron wire mesh on absorber And matrix of porous media  on absorber .

An International Publisher for Academic and Scientific Journals The mucilage of white and black chia seeds were extracted and determining their contents of bioactive compounds such as tannins, glycosides, flavonoids, phenols, and studying their activity as anti-filamentary and anticancer. Results showed that tannins exist in white chia seeds with 35%while it is 38% in black seeds, flavonoids represent 0.98mg/ml in white chia seeds and 1.5 mg/ml for black seeds. Both kinds of seeds showed anti-filamentaryactivity, the inhibition ratio was 86.5% for white seeds and 97.3% for black seeds. This research aims to study and improve the passivating specifications of rubber resistant to  vibration. In this paper, seven different rubber recipes were prepared based on mixtures of natural rubber(NR)  as an essential part in addition to the synthetic rubber (IIR, BR_cis, SBR, CR)with different rates.
