Background: Information concerning the maximum bite force in human population is important to clinical orthodontics. Additionally, the influence of bite force on the vertical stability of any treatment result is important. The new position of the dentition should be compatible with the dynamics of the muscular and occlusal forces in all planes. This study was conducted to 1) to measure and compare maximum bite force, body height and weight among normal occlusion and malocclusion groups (cl I,cl II,cl III) in both gender 2) to evaluate the correlation between bite force and craniofacial morphology, body height and weight. Materials and Methods: The sample consists of 100 Iraqi adult subjects aged 18-25 years. It was classified in to four groups: cl I normal occlusion, cl I malocclusion, cl II malocclusion, and cl III malocclusion according to(skeletal) the value of ANB angle and (dental)the Angle classification. Each group consist of 25 (13 male, 12 female), Maximum bite force was measured by a digital device (GM10, Naganokeiki, Japan) by putting the sensor part of occlusal force meter on first molar region, body height and weight were measured by using the Length and Weight Measuring Standard (Tanita, 2008) and craniofacial measurements were achieved by analysis of lateral cephalometric radiograph Results: The highest mean value of maximum bite force was found in normal occlusion followed by class II malocclusion and then class I malocclusion and the lowest value was found in class III malocclusion, class I skeletal relationship (cl I normal occlusion & cl I malocclusion group) had larger values of body weight when compared with skeletal class II& class III .Regarding the gender, mean values of maximum bite force and body height are higher in male than female in normal occlusion and malocclusion groups, There is a positive correlation between maximum bite force and body height and weight in normal occlusion and class I malocclusion ,there is a positive correlation between maximum bite force and palatal plane, Ramus plane, mandibular plane, posterior facial height, cranial base, dentoalveolar height, while there is a negative correlation with anterior facial height, Gonial angle, SN-Mp?,PP-MP&SN-PP? angles. Conclusion: The normal occlusion group had larger values of bite force than malocclusion group, the maximum bite force, body height is gender related, larger body build up was usually associated with larger bite force in class I skeletal relationship, Individuals with characteristics of larger maxilla ,larger mandible, larger cranial base ,short anterior facial height long posterior facial height, flat mandibular plane had the largest value of bite force.
The research dealt with the study (interpretation of space in the art of installation), and it is located in four frameworks, the first is devoted to clarifying the research problem, its importance and the need for it, its goal, and its limits, and determining the most important terms contained therein. The research problem was determined from the question, does space embody those different and diverse materials that were formulated and installed by the artist into modern forms? Is the product of synthetic arts an appropriation of these spaces and domination of them? The problematic of interpreting space in its conceptual dimension in (synthetic) art in its multiplicity, diversity and difference, or objecting to the work of artistic system

The objective of the present work is the investigation of milling parameters for the sculptured surfacesthat effecting of surface roughness during machining of Al-alloy. The machining operation implemented on C-TEK CNC milling machine. The influence of the selected variables on the chosen characteristics have been accomplished using Taguchi design approach, also ANOVA had been utilized to evaluate the contributionsof each parameter on proc

The subsequent nanocomposites were analyzed using Fourier-transform infrared spectra (FTIR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), and Energy Dispersive X-Ray Analysis (EDX) taken for the prepared samples. PANI/TiO2 nanocomposites were prepared by various compound materials (with H2SO4 0.3 M and without it, to compare the outcome of it) by the compound oxidation technique using ammonium persulfate (APS) as oxidant within the sight of ultrafine grade powder of TiO2 cooled in an ice bath.

The inverse kinematics of redundant manipulators has infinite solutions by using conventional methods, so that, this work presents applicability of intelligent tool (artificial neural network ANN) for finding one desired solution from these solutions. The inverse analysis and trajectory planning of a three link redundant planar robot have been studied in this work using a proposed dual neural networks model (DNNM), which shows a predictable time decreasing in the training session. The effect of the number of the training sets on the DNNM output and the number of NN layers have been studied. Several trajectories have been implemented using point to point trajectory planning algorithm with DNNM and the result shows good accuracy of the end

They are based on appropriately selected 1-D systolic array filter that depends on the inner product sum systolic implementation. Various arrays may be derived that exhibit a regular arrangement of the cells (processors) and local interconnection pattern, which are important for VLSI implementation. It reduces latency time and increases the throughput rate in comparison to classical 1-D systolic arrays. The 3-D multilayered array consists of 2-D layers, which are connected with each other only by edges. Such arrays for LMS-based adaptive (FIR) filter may be opposed the fundamental requirements of fa

Show MoreSome maps of the chaotic firefly algorithm were selected to select variables for data on blood diseases and blood vessels obtained from Nasiriyah General Hospital where the data were tested and tracking the distribution of Gamma and it was concluded that a Chebyshevmap method is more efficient than a Sinusoidal map method through mean square error criterion.
Solar collectors, in general, are utilized to convert the solar energy into heat energy, where it is employed to generate electricity. The non-concentrating solar collector with a circular shape was adopted in the present study. Ambient air is heated under a translucent roof where buoyant air is drawn from outside periphery towards the collector center (tower base). The present study is aimed to predict and visualize the thermal-hydrodynamic behavior for airflow under inclined roof of the solar air collector, SAC. Three-dimensional of the SAC model using the re-normalization group, RNG, k−ε turbulence viscus model is simulated. The simulation was carried out by using ANSYS-FLUENT 14.5. The simulation
... Show MoreThe piled raft is a geotechnical composite construction consisting of three elements: piles, raft and soil.
In the design of piled rafts, the load shared between the piles and the raft, and the piles are used up to a
load level that can be of the same order of magnitude as the bearing capacity of a comparable single
pile or even greater. Therefore, the piled raft foundation allows reduction of settlements in a very
economic way as compared to traditional foundation concepts.
This paper presents experimental study to investigate the behavior of piled raft system in sandy
soil. A small scale “prototype” model was tested in a sand box with load applied to the system through
a compression machine. The settlement was
This article aims to explore the importance of estimating the a semiparametric regression function ,where we suggest a new estimator beside the other combined estimators and then we make a comparison among them by using simulation technique . Through the simulation results we find that the suggest estimator is the best with the first and second models ,wherealse for the third model we find Burman and Chaudhuri (B&C) is best.
