Background: Odontogenic cysts include a group of osseodestructive lesions that frequently affect the jaws. Those cysts could derive from odontogenic epithelium and occur in the tooth-bearing regions of the jaws. The aims of this study were to evaluate the immunohistochemical expression of Cyclin D1 in Keratocystic Odontogenic Tumor, Dentigerous cyst and Radicular cyst in epithelium and connective tissue capsule. Materials and Methods: In this study, thirty formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue blocks of Odontogenic cysts and Tumor, consist of 14 Keratocystic Odontogenic Tumor, 8 dentigerous cysts and 8 radicular cysts were analyzed immunohistochemically for the presence of Cyclin D1 proteins. Results: Strong to moderate expression of Cyclin D1 in epithelium was found in Keratocystic Odontogenic Tumor cases with positive cases percentage was (85.7%). Statistical significant differences (P<0.001) observed when comparing the three lesions. Immunoreactivity of Cyclin D1 in stroma of Keratocystic Odontogenic Tumor was higher than in dentigerous cysts and radicular cysts cases. However, the difference was not statistically significant (P<0.067). Conclusion: The results of this study propose that high expression rate of Cyclin D1 might be one of the reasons for aggressive behavior of Keratocystic Odontogenic Tumor and high recurrence rate. Key Words: Keratocystic Odontogenic Tumor, dentigerous cysts, radicular cysts, Cyclin D1, immunohistochemistry.
The research aims to know the reverberation of the the electronica news bulletin of the ministry of higher education and scientific research in the newspapers of: (AL-Taakhi, AL-Zaman, ALAdala,AL-Sabah and Baghdad) for period from 2nd October 2011 to 1st November 2011 to explain its activity and advantage for the other newspapers and to show the importance which the newspapers showed for the study of the news subject in the bulletin, as well as,to show the proportional differences in which the newspapers interested in the subjects of the published news, and to reach to the results which lead us to good conclusions for the service of decision owner and open new horizons for the researchers to expanding in the s

This study aimed to evaluate the ability of hesperidin, a flavonoid found in citrus fruits, in inhibiting lipopolysaccharide (LPS) induced inflammation, which induced lethal toxicity in vivo, and to evaluate its importance as an antitumor agent in breast cancer. The in vivo experiments revealed the protective effects of hesperidin against the negative LPS effects on the liver and spleen of male mice. (2) Methods: In the liver, the antioxidant activity was measured by estimating the concentration of glutathione (GSH) and catalase (CAT), whereas in spleen, the concentration of cytokines including IL-33 and TNF-α was measured. The in vitro expe

Modeling was achieved using a simplified 1-D resistance-capacitance thermal network (RC model) for an infinite slab. Heat transfer from the cooling pipe network was treated as 2-D heat flow. Only a limited number of nodes were required to obtain reliable results. The use of 6th order RC-thermal model produced a set of ordinary differential equations that were solved using MATLAB - R2012a. The computer program was written to cover all possible initial conditions, material properties, TAR system geometry and hourly solar radiation. The cool water supply was considered time

Pollutants in the river contribute to increasing the biological oxygen demand (BOD), total suspended solids (SS), total dissolved solids (TDS), chemical oxygen demand (COD), and toxic metals render this water unsuitable for consumption and even pose a significant risk to human health. Over the last few years, water conservation has been the subject of growing awareness and concern throughout the world, so this research focused on review studies of researches that studied the importance of water quality of wastewater treated disposal in water bodies and modern technology to management w
