Background: Odontogenic cysts include a group of osseodestructive lesions that frequently affect the jaws. Those cysts could derive from odontogenic epithelium and occur in the tooth-bearing regions of the jaws. The aims of this study were to evaluate the immunohistochemical expression of Cyclin D1 in Keratocystic Odontogenic Tumor, Dentigerous cyst and Radicular cyst in epithelium and connective tissue capsule. Materials and Methods: In this study, thirty formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue blocks of Odontogenic cysts and Tumor, consist of 14 Keratocystic Odontogenic Tumor, 8 dentigerous cysts and 8 radicular cysts were analyzed immunohistochemically for the presence of Cyclin D1 proteins. Results: Strong to moderate expression of Cyclin D1 in epithelium was found in Keratocystic Odontogenic Tumor cases with positive cases percentage was (85.7%). Statistical significant differences (P<0.001) observed when comparing the three lesions. Immunoreactivity of Cyclin D1 in stroma of Keratocystic Odontogenic Tumor was higher than in dentigerous cysts and radicular cysts cases. However, the difference was not statistically significant (P<0.067). Conclusion: The results of this study propose that high expression rate of Cyclin D1 might be one of the reasons for aggressive behavior of Keratocystic Odontogenic Tumor and high recurrence rate. Key Words: Keratocystic Odontogenic Tumor, dentigerous cysts, radicular cysts, Cyclin D1, immunohistochemistry.

The current research aims to identify the effect of the note-taking strategy (CORNELL) on systematic thinking among second-grade female students in government daytime secondary and intermediate schools. Al-Fadhila School was intentionally chosen to be its student sample for the research affiliated with the First Karkh Directorate for the academic year (2024-2025). Then one of the two sections was randomly chosen to represent the experimental group that studies according to the note-taking strategy (CORNELL) and the other the control group that studies according to the usual method. The equivalence of the two research groups was verified by a set of variables, which were represented by chronological age in months, previous achievement in che

In the carbonization process, nitrogen gas flow rate was 0.2L/min at carbonization temperature of 500ºC for 1h. The char products were then preceded to the activation process at 850°C under carbon dioxide (CO2) activation flow rate of 0.6L/min for 3h. The activation method produced local adsorbent material with a surface area and total pore volume as high as 118.59m2 /g and 0.1467cm3/g, respectively. The produced . local adsorbent (activated carbon) was used for adsorption of lead from aqueous solution. The continuous fixed bed column experiments were conducted. The adsorption capacity performance of prepared activated carbons in this work

We randomly divided patients into two groups: group A (13 patients) were operated using the traction table in the supine position for implant insertion, and group B (13 patients) were operated using the lateral decubitus position. We compared both groups regarding the setup time, operative time, tip-to-apex distance, collodiaphyseal angle, time for fluoroscopic time expo

In this work, Hong-Ou-Mandel experiment was performed to evaluate the degree of indistinguishability between independent photons generated from two independent weak coherent sources working at 640 nm. The visibility was 46%, close to the theoretical limit of 50%. The implemented setup can be adopted in quantum key distribution experiments carried out with free space as the channel link, as all the devices and components used are operative in the visible range of the electromagnetic spectrum.
Biodiesel production process was attracted more attention recently due to the surplus quantity of glycerol (G) as a byproduct from the process. Glycerol Utilization must take in to consideration to fix this issue also, to ensure biodiesel industry sustainability. Highly amount of Glycerol converted to more benefit material Glycerol carbonate (GC) was one of the most allurement compound derived from glycerol by transesterification of glycerol with dimethyl carbonate (DMC). Various parameters have highly impact on transesterification was investigated like catalyst loading (1-5) %wt., molar ratio of DMC: glycerol (5:1 – 1:1), reaction time (30 - 150) min and temperature (40 – 80) ᴼC. Nano-sized crystals may result when LUDOX AS-40 is used as a silica source for gel composition of range 6 and the crystallization step may be conducted for a period of 4 to 19 hr at 100 ⁰C. Moreover, large-crystals with high crystallinity pure phase Y zeolite can be obtained at hereinabove conditions but when hydrous sodium metasilicate is used as a silica source. The other selected ranges also offer pure phase Y zeolite at the same controlled conditions.
