The present study is an attempt to show how the three Umayyad poets ; Jarir , Al-
Farazdaq and Al-Akhtal have consciously and skillfully employed in their poetry som ancient
Arab legends ,historical events and wars as they provide atrue image of the values and
customs of the peoples who lived before them .
Their employed , how ever, takes avarying degrees depending, to alarge extent , an the
vast but personal knowledge of each poet the past tradition , and practices . Jarir ,in many
respects out , stands the first , Al-Farazdaq , the second and Al-Akhtal , the third .

Some may think that the games, especially the folk games, are just a means of entertainment and fun and children may resort to them to alleviate the tension they are experiencing at home or school, but the truth is that they carry values and meanings that can be invested in education because they contribute to the development of the personality of the child and enhance self- confidence. An experimental study was conducted on pressure drop of water flow through vertical cylindrical packed beds in turbulent region and the influence of the operating parameters on its behavior.    In this research the effect of grain size and effect of La2O3 doping on densification  rate for the  initial and intermediate  stages of sintering were studied .The experimental results for α – cristobilite powder are modeled using ( L2-Regression ) technique in studying  the effect of grain size and La2O3 doping using  three particles size (6.12, 8.92, 13.6 ) µm, with undoped  initial powder and with La2O3 doping .      In this study, cadmium oxide (CdO) was deposited on glass bases by thermal chemical spraying technique at three concentrations (0.05, 0.1, 0.15) M and then was irradiated by CO₂ laser with 10.6 μm wave length and 1W power. The results of the atomic force microscope AFM test showed that the surfaces of these CdO thin films were homogenous and that the laser irradiated effect resulted in decreasing the roughness of the surface as well as the heights of the granular peaks, indicating a greater uniformity and homogeneity of the surfaces.
